If you choose to sit on the patio be prepared to sit with boisterous Germans who might break out into song on their whim. If everyone on the patio presents a dour Visage they are probably from the local country. If you choose to sit inside, which is a typical Central European cabin that you would find across the region, you will feel comfortable and we'll taken care of from the very tall and jovial host. He is happy to serve very nice, cold, and foamy Krakanose lager from Trutnov which is in a nearby town. Of course you can find vepřo knedlo zelo and svičkova, but they have specials like bučak and prdelačka. I ordered the blood soup and the roasted pork belly since in my trips to the Czech Republic I have yet to attend zabijač ka. So our host, who could be known to his friends as Jirka, or Junza, or Franta, was somehow able to bring all of our plates at once with a basket of sliced rye bread. The bučak was a sight to behold. 3 slice of pork belly like quadruple thick bacon that might give anyone a quadruple bypass. On the side was fresh grated horseradish and a dollop of mustard. The pork belly was so tender it melted in my mouth and the fat was just a smidgen crispy and not chewy. As you may have surmised that I have lived to tell the tale and did not drop dead at the table after eating 150 grams of pork. The food was great and service too. Sorry that the diners from across the border have a different opinion, although you are known for being uptight.
