Full disclosure: this is actually my first time having Nigerian cuisine so I cant compare it to anything else . I can say however that the service was decent. The young lady seemed to have been rushing us a bit, and seeing that there were hardly any guests there I couldn't understand why . The restaurant is very quaint . Definitely family owned and operated and I enjoyed the relaxed vibe . As for the food ? I ordered egusi with stock fish and it came with fufu (I was super excited to try this actually) when I received the dish I was a bit disappointed. I dont mind that I had to add salt to the plate but honestly I didn't enjoy the seasoning either . And I'm not sure if it's their fufu or just fufu in general but I didn't like it . I did have that orijin beer , that was tasty and light . It's really just my first time so thats just personal preference. My
Friend ordered grilled chicken (which he also didn't like) when i tasted it it honestly just tastes like they cooked the chicken , bland and added tomato , chilis and oil in the end , the jollof rice was delicious tho . I wanted to order that to take home ... Maybe someone can direct me next time with what to order . read more
