Very mixted opinion about the place because I still hesitate between bitterness, pleasure or…read moredenouncing the false appearance of mercenary attitude of the amusement park.
In details, coming from Toulon, I found that the road was very badly indicated to go there (what about those who are not from the region).
Afterwards: I arrived on the car park, in 4X4 wheeling mode because of the relief of the area but indeed, I succeeded in parking in the shade, I grant it.
I was lucky, benefiting from the free child ticket gleaned in a fast food so I paid only my ticket.
Entered on the site, it is really the disorientation because the sets of the Wild West are very realistic and everything is in the cowboys' spirit.
What I particularly appreciated, it is the quality of the shows (historical reconstruction of a Wild West scene, attack of diligence) and a special bravo to Zorro. I take time to really congratulate the actors who are very credible in their various roles and they are all very good riders.
On the other hand, I regret that some shows are given in the theater room (which is basically a dining room) and so, no way adapted to take full advantage of the entertainment (no fan or air conditioning, flat ground which prevents young children and grown-ups located at the bottom of the room from looking at the actors, not enough seats with the well-known and typical incivilities from French people badly educated which remain standing in front of the others.
To go towards the dark side, I can now criticize the amusements.
In my opinion, most of the merry-go-rounds are for the reckless children (understand that for the fearful persons and the very young kids, your day will be surely boring) .For the others and the adults, you will have fun. But I want to denounce the fact that for many stalls you will have to pay (ducks hunt, lottery, trapshooting) so go to the carnival where you usually don't pay the entrance for these types of entertainment!
What made me angry, that was this feeling that there were more restaurants , snacks, cafeteria than entertainments (an explanation of the words mercenary attitude at the beginning of my notice) .Furthermore, there is a tiny squared picnic area with chairs and tables (Is it to incite to eat in the snacks of the resort?) The pinnacle is illustrated by the attached picture where you can read in French on the biggest board:FREE MAKE-UP and on the little under :IF YOU BUY AN INDIAN GIFT; for me it is a type of commercial manipulation that I hate (because we entice the customer by touching his children) .At the entrance, same story (in addition): I refused the photo proposed by a professional and I was answered: " it is a real pity for the childl! " Can you believe it?!
That is why I remain to be very cautious on this resort and I put only 2 stars.
PERSONAL NOTE: drive 60km further and go to KIDDY PARK resort between Hyères and l'Almanarre (15 km from Toulon).This is, for me, the reference in entertainment resort for kids in the area. No unpleasant surprises .See my next opinion on the place.
