We stayed just down the street at a local resort and stumbled upon Primo Piano on our first night…read more Granted, there aren't a lot of good eating options in the area, but we loved the food and atmosphere at Primo Piano that we went back each of the three nights we were in Sardinia.
All told, we ended up trying several things on the menu, most of which were very good. We had the truffle and mushroom spaghetti (very good), sea bass (good), horse steak (yes, horse... it tasted like beef and was very good), fried cheese-and-beef-stuffed olives (pretty good), fried mixed seafood (good), a cheesy olive side dish (pretty good), pizza with mushrooms, artichokes and sausage (very good), baby octopus in a spicy sauce (good but a little fishy tasting), seafood risotto for two (excellent)... oh, and a bottle of vino della casa bianco (white house wine) every night, to boot.
The wait staff was very sweet and the outdoor area was comfortable and relaxing. We loved our time in Sardinia and always looked forward to our dinners at Primo Piano.
