I don't think the lime sauce and avocado were good with the artichoke inside but it was really good with a different sauce. My friend on the other hand (whose food I munched on also) was STELLAR! Tomato-cheese stuffed gnocci in tomato sauce..... AMAZING!!!! My other friend got the minestrone and said it was really tasty, too. The plates were laid out nicely and the bread the waiter gave us was soft and had great a great crust!

When it was time to order, he showed us the daily specials but also let us know that if we had a craving for anything not on the menu, he would see what the kitchen could do. I ordered the spaghetti with mussels and my boyfriend ordered gnocchi with tomatoes and shrimp. Both orders tasted fresh and the tomato sauce base on both was not too sweet. We both cleaned our plates with the bread that was provided. The serving sizes were perfect for lunch time. We ordered beers with our meal, which were a bit expensive for Peroni's (4.50 euros) but were happy to have the option. The location is great for people watching and is close to the sites, if you're touring/visiting. The restaurant does not take credit cards.

However, we had booked a boat tour, so we were in a hurry. The staff accommodated us quickly and respectfully so that we didn't miss our boat. Honestly, I wish we could have stayed longer. If you are in Potsdam, this is a great spot to linger over some linguini.
