Unfortunately in the 20 years I've driven by there, they have never discounted their gas prices. I think I've only ever taken gas there once. Any other time, I've just cleaned my windowshield. They do have soapy water for their squeegee which is nice. They are open 24 hours a day. The station is brightly lit. * Follow up...Got a call from a Customer Service Manager. He told me he talked to the mechanic and…read morehe remembered the car - he definitely rotated the tires, so nothing to worry about there. As for the brakes, he wanted me to go back to the store to have them look at the brakes again and show me how bad they were?!!! I told him the Ford dealership gave me a written detail that the brakes were perfectly fine and the calipers were perfectly fine - not "failed" like the mechanic said they were. They said approximately 6 months before we need to worry about pads, there's 6mm still remaining. He gets all confrontational - "Oh I don't know how they can make that assumption." He then tells me the mechanic was an apprentice and he doesn't remember the car specifically. Ummm didn't he just say he remembered it and definitely rotated the tires? The guy then starts talking over me and gets all confrontational when I tell him this is a pattern at Canadian Tire going back to the 80's and that's why I don't take my cars there for service - they always come up with brake problems! He says unless I take it in for them to look at it there's nothing he can do. I say how about refunding my money - that would be a start. He says no way. I hung up. I don't get worked up easily, but his guy just made my blood boil. Lesson learned - Canadian Tire don't care, they just make noises that they do. Check out the Google and Yelp reviews on the other Canadian Tire stores in Mississauga - they are horrendous, so it's obviously a company-wide problem.

They had tough rules and were extremely busy. Instead, I usually went to the Petro-Canada slightly south of them. But in 2019, they are no lineups any longer (guess people are used to the cheap prices). So now I'll go there whenever I want to collect PC Optimum points. They have a car wash and tire air pump.
