Not much can be added, this place stands on its own and has no need for anyone's input, locals and Nicaraguans alike come and order tons of food. It may be a caveat if you are in a hurry, as the lines are long and service is slow. The plus, meats are charred while you wait, and grilled chicken is made to order. Apart from the very good flavors of the rices, there are many extra dishes that most fritangas don't carry. And the assortment of drinks, juices, and cheeses, is larger. This is definitely a good place to visit.

Best meal I had in Miami!! 5-stars-ALL the way..hands down.. BEST take-out food option to pick up on your way to the airport.. In-n-out ASAP!! BEST BBQ food I had in a LONG TIME!! The carne asada was almost perfect and the rice and beans were also super yummy, along with their plantains.. and I'm going to have to read their menu for the make of their grilled cheese!! The place is far from fancy and I didn't see a menu anywhere..but they cook the food in front of you while you're ordering.. If you want to try some Central American food-specifically Nicaraguan food. Definitely check out Pinolandia. Idk if they have any seating.. In my rush to the airport, I forget to get something from their bakery..and couldn't sample some of their messier options..

As soon as you walk in you have to make a line to order your food. I ordered carne asada, gallo pinto and queso frito. The food here is an authentic Nicaraguan food. This meal is like $20 a plate. You also have an option to go to a little store next to the restaurant. In the right side of the restaurant is where all of the seating is at if you wish you eat there. I only go here if I want to eat food from Nicaragua. The parking is free across the street. This place is usually opened for 24 hours.

Great fritanga! We've been going to Yambo for years when a friend told us to try Pinolandia. We had to give it a try! Pinolandia has a couple locations and we tried the one in the Riverside area! There is plenty of street parking but beware the street in front of it get busy! Inside there's the food bar which you order from then there's a room to the right with plenty of seating if you decide to eat there. There is also a little market inside with yummy drinks, snacks and food. We ordered the carne asada, gallo pinto, queso frito and platano. We also ordered a side order of chicharron. The chicharron was a little dry but the portion was big! The food was great. Once portion is enough to share. I also really like the vinegar sauce we got, it's very tasty! Highly recommend Pinolandia for an affordable meal with large portions! Don't forget to try a juice at the market inside!

Traditional and authentic Nicaraguan Fritanga served to order. Amazing food, they serve a lot of quantity and the quality is great as well. Huge selection on snacks and juices. The cacao is the best! Even if you see the big line of people waiting to take their order, wait it out because it moves pretty fast.

My go to every time I'm in Miami, authentic Nicaraguan cuisine, Dios mio que rico todo! You will Immediately get hit with the incredible smell of smoked meats you'll want to eat again even if you already had dinner. This is heavy but delicious food. service is great the tias will take care of you trust me.

Once upon a time food was authentic nica. Now is a mix of Cuban and not authentic. Overpriced and the staff is a bit rude as well.

We had a very good lunch at Madrono restaurant. It's a very nice looking space with table clothes…read moreand well-dressed servers who were eager to please and serve. We started with melon and dragonfruit drinks which were like aguas frescas. For starters we tried the Taquitos and Chancho con Yucca and they were excellent. The pork tenderloin chunks in the Chancho were done well and had a tasty coating of spices. We loved the chopped cabbage. We also liked the pulled beef in the Taquitos. The fried beans were creamy and delicious. In fact, everything on our plates was delicious! For mains, we had the Fajitas de Carne and Lengua en Salsa. Both were very good. I haven't had a tamale in a while so I decided to try the Indio Maiz; the sweet corn was good as was the sour cream and soft cheese. Yum. I really enjoyed Maranos. I may have been the only gringo in the place :).

The portions were good in comparison to Los Ranchos and the steak was extremely flavorful and soft. They also have a selection of sauces for the steak or your meal. The service was great. Our only complaint was that they served canned beverages. If you are somebody that drinks a lot of soda, the bill can quickly get expensive. We love Nicaraguan food and frequently dine at other places but this restaurant by far is the best. The wait can be long on the weekends with larger parties so just be aware of that.

I wish I could give yambo 10 stars. It was a 24-hour staple while I lived in Miami during college,…read moreand a frequent first date spot for my roommate when he wanted to impress a gringo girl with an authentic experience. This particular trip was special because I took my hubby with my group of college friends and we sat in the restaurant. I had no clue the inside decor was western themed, and it was equal parts random and perfect for the chaos outside in the take out area. Most people seem to go the take out option from the cafeteria window, surrounded by coin operated games and gumball machines. They have a huge menu but the carne asada is the best thing on the menu hands down. Service is quick, but like most dive places in Miami, you're not in it for the chatty waitresses, just the sitting and taking up space over beers for 3 hours with your buds.

This is a great Nicaraguan spot to go to late at night if you're hungry. I went at around 10 pm and…read moretried to get a Quesillo but unfortunately they ran out. Instead I ordered a carne asada which is just steak, as well as rice and fried cheese. The entire plate was $20, which is great for the amount of food you get. I also ordered a cacao which is like a chocolate milk made with real cacao. The only downside was how long it took to get my drink, you have to go to a separate window to order drinks or dessert. There was 2 people in front of me and it took an extended amount of time to get just 1 drink and a sweet treat. It was obviously worth it but a bit inconvenient. Anyways, you should definitely check this spot out for authentic Nicaraguan cuisine.
