I'm in my late 70's and had to get out and try to put another coat of stain on, to try to improve their mess. The top of the rail had been initially painted. This had been pointed out at the very beginning & again to the young gentlemen doing the staining. They were to prepare the rail & paint with a color similar to the present color. However stain was put on the rail instead of paint, and of course stain isn't going to cover pealing of old paint or fix bubbles in the old paint. There was no checking up or follow up after job was done. the cost was way to high for the job we received and for the size of our Deck/Porch. They didn't even have to stain spokes in the railing because they are metal & in good condition. We regret we didn't contact the office and complain!
