I worked with Emily at PrimeLending for about a year and a half, and in the beginning, everything…read moreseemed to be going well. She came recommended by a friend, communicated clearly, and appeared knowledgeable. For a long time, I genuinely believed she was someone I could trust. Unfortunately, everything unraveled during the final stages of my home purchase, and the experience quickly became chaotic, stressful, and deeply disappointing. One hour before my closing appointment, Emily suddenly told me that title had "messed up numbers" and that I needed an additional $5,000 at closing--after I had already scrambled to come up with roughly $8,100 she told me I needed just a week (or less) earlier, with my realtor present. I had gathered that money under enormous stress, only to be told at the last minute that I somehow needed even more. When I called for clarity, she repeated only that "someone messed up the numbers," without explaining how such a major discrepancy happened or why I was being notified moments before closing. She also admitted she didn't know what to do. What followed was hours of phone calls between Emily, the broker, the transfer coordinator, my parents, my realtor, and me--yet no one could clearly explain the error on PrimeLending's or the broker's side. I had triple-checked details, asked thorough questions for months, and provided everything requested of me, yet I was suddenly expected to produce $5,000 because of mistakes I didn't make. The lack of ownership was the most disappointing part. No one accepted responsibility, and I never received an apology. Instead, the burden was placed entirely on me. Emily's only "solution" was offering to try to get me a $500 Visa gift card after closing--if I somehow found the extra $5,000 and drained my bank account to zero. That did nothing to fix the crisis or address the mistakes that derailed my closing. Communication with the broker PrimeLending used through FNBA was chaotic and unprofessional, contributing directly to the breakdown. After realizing I needed to switch lenders, Emily told me my appraisal transfer would be handled without issue--but the broker suddenly began disputing whether I had even paid for it, despite my receipt, bank statement, and the full appraisal packet. To make matters even worse, in the midst of all this chaos, I received an "updated" disclosure from PrimeLending--after the failed closing--that didn't list my name at all. Instead, it listed my abusive ex-husband's name, which I never provided and never applied with. I still hope nothing was ever sent to him. It was sloppy, careless, and completely unacceptable. Up until about three weeks before closing, everything with Emily had seemed fine. But once things became complicated, transparency disappeared, communication dropped significantly, and accountability was nonexistent. She later admitted to making assumptions and blamed the broker and someone named Jesse for missing a note she said she wrote. Beyond that, I heard nothing. No one from PrimeLending has contacted me since the day everything fell apart. She also admitted at the end that this was the first profit-and-loss loan she had ever handled--something that was never disclosed to me until the damage was already done. Ultimately, I had to switch lenders entirely. My new lender lowered my interest rate by nearly 2% and reduced my mortgage payment by about $200 per month. That alone confirmed that I could not rely on the information PrimeLending and their broker provided. Mistakes happen--but the refusal to take responsibility, the lack of transparency, and the unprofessional handling of critical financial information made an already difficult process far more overwhelming than it ever should have been.

I work hard so you can enjoy the home buying/selling process. I specialize in first time home buyers, yet have had my fair share of listings and repeat home buyers. I pride myself on not being the pushy realtor, yet still get the job done when it comes to negotiations. I’m a one stop shop when it comes to all things home! I have referrals for plumbers, electricians, painters, and anything else you may need! I also offer luxury listings signage, great marketing, staging services, as well as renovation contracts. I also have a background in interior design and professional organization. My father is a general contractor so I grew up going to job sites and learning about all things home. My mom is a mortgage lender supervisor and she gives me a lot of really good insight about what the daily market conditions are and when the best rates are going to hit. I love having the inside scoop for myself & my clients. I became a realtor for multiple reasons; I love helping others. Buying a home is one of the biggest purchases you will ever make, and I want to be there to help and guide you through it. I have a true passion for architecture & design. Going into homes big, small, new, or old - I will always find a silver lining. My last reason is that I simply love people. I'm an extrovert and enjoy getting to know each and every one of my clients.
