I found the firm through Google and decided to go with them because they offered a flat fee of $990 including GST and disbursements. I must admit I had some doubts after the initial meeting as it was conducted in one of those rent-a-room office spaces in the city with no furniture other than a table and a couple of chairs. (I am assuming they have a more permanent office in Crows Nest.) The solicitor I saw wasn't all that personable either, so I left the office wondering if I had made a mistake. My fears were put to rest, however, once the contract of sale was drafted and the ball got rolling after I received an offer on my apartment. My point-of-contact person throughout the sale process was a paralegal who communicated with me via email and replied to all my queries in a prompt and professional manner. I would definitely go with this firm again in the future, when I am ready to buy another property.
