I like this place. Maybe its because the cute piggies everywhere. So far I have only got their milk tea with boba. I really like the pink boba, they're softer than honey boba and the taste isn't as strong. I don't know what they are. The menu says all their milk teas are dairy free, so I'm guessing they use fake creamer... this is probably my only complaint but whatever they use I don't notice any weird taste from what ever the milk substitute is. They have a smaller menu than say boba time. I'll be back to try more variety, their fruit drinks look good and they have a peach popping boba. The shop it self has 4 small tables inside, 2 rocking chairs, and 2 small outdoor tables. You order on the ipad, cashless, contactless orders, pick up when they call your name. The staff are all very nice so if you have a question just ask. They also serve a limited selection of gelato flavors. Next time I'll get menu pics. read more

Not many places carry a nutella milk tea, so I knew I had to try it! At $4.25, it really is not a bad price considering most boba shops sell their drinks upwards of $6.00. I got the nutella milk tea with slightly less sweet, and it was just the right sweetness. The tea was light and fragrant, with slightly fruity notes, which may come from the hazelnut but I'm not sure. Overall a solid cup of milk tea, and I will definitely be back! read more

There are plenty of parking spaces in the shopping center. You use a kiosk to order, but if you have any questions, you can ask the employees. We ordered the Mango Yogurt w/ Peach popping boba and Nutella Milk Tea. When ordering, there is no option to do ice level, so there is a screen for entering your name, you just type you want less ice on that screen with your name (e.g. "light ice please - Annie"). The Mango Yogurt drink was really good and flavorful. The peach popping boba wasn't good, it was too "soft" compared to other popping bobas. Once in my mouth, it just started bursting. Other popping bobas have the 'pop burst' feeling. Pink Pig is a nice little boba shop with cute decor located in the University Town Center Plaza. I admit, the prices aren't that cheap, but the tea sure is delicious! The cheese foam here is delicious and is the perfect mixture of savory and sweet. I love how they have a variety of options for teas, toppings, and overall drink adjustments. A cute touch us that their tapioca pearls are actually pink! They also have contactless ordering at their counter, so you can conveniently order through a screen and pay without having to speak to anyone. They also offer Gelato here, but I have not yet tried it. If you are in University Town Center, I definitely recommend this boba shop! I really wish I had better things to say about this place. I loved the ambiance. It was super cute and chic. There's a few table inside but the UTC complex has plenty of tables in the area anyways. When I got there, a couple people were in like. This is not an uncommon sight in this complex, but I really expected it to be pretty good considering how many people were in line. They have a self serve ordering machine for you to click your order. I ended up ordering the Hokkaido milk tea half sweet with boba . I wanted to change the ice amount, but that wasn't an option. It took about 7-8 minutes for the order to come out. It seemed like they were a little understaffed. There was one girl in the front doing pretty much everything and I think maybe one other person in the back? I'm not too sure. Anyways, back to the drink. The tea flavor was just not there. It didn't have a strong flavor at all, and not only was there no tea flavor. Stopped by to try Pink Pig after seeing it open up at UTC and I'm so glad we did! If you're looking for a spot that has strong tea, this is your spot. So far, I've tried the Golden Oolong Tea, Lavender Milk Tea, and Classic Milk tea, and they did not disappoint. The boba is chewy and has a great texture. The drinks also weren't overly sweet, which I like. It's self-serve so there's no option to change the ice in your drinks, but the workers were more than happy to adjust our ice ratio. I would give 10 stars if I could. I come here all the time and I adore everything about this place. The decor is beautiful, the lady who owns the store is so sweet and friendly. The place is rarely busy and the service is always very fast. There is a wide variety of drinks to choose from for every kind of person- from fruit tea to milk tea to brûlées. All of the drinks I have tried from here I have enjoyed. The boba is PERFECT. Not too chewy and not too hard. The popping boba is lovely too. I had their strawberry guava smash and oh my goodness is it tasty. I could taste the nuts of strawberry and guava with every sip. Their normal sweetness isn't overly sweet and I love it when tea spots don't saturate their teas with sugar. The boba is soft, chewy, and sweet. The perfect boba. read more

I really loved this boba shop and it was my go to out of all the boba stores in UTC but it fell off so hard in the 3 years at UCI. The peach ice blended with cheese foam used to be my favorite, it had bits of real fruit in it and so did their other fruit drinks. Their milk teas were also very good back then but after they changed their recipe it was never the same. The milk teas tasted heavily of soy at one point before they changed their recipe again the most recent time I came to try it. The peach ice blended is just ice and peach flavoring and maybe some tea. My most recent experience, I went to redeem my stamp card (I had the 5 stamps for a free drink card but they changed it to the 6 stamps. However, I had the 6th stamp on a separate card) there was no one behind the bar and I waited a while before a lady came out from the storage room. She refused to let me redeem it and was very rude about it. I ordered a Nutella milk tea since I was already there and it was disappointing. Rather than lacing the cup with Nutella she blended it into the drink which made the drink extra sweet. I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt before I left Irvine for good but was left disappointed. To the owner, I hope you can bring back the recipe for a few years ago. I always wanted to try the new spot that opened, Pink Pig. The interior of the store is nice, with pink roses and a couple of stuffed pigs. I opted in for a Golden Oolong Milk Tea with full sweetness and less ice. I wanted honey boba in the drink, but they gave me crystal boba instead because they were out of honey boba. The oolong milk tea had a nice floral taste to it and was very sweet. The crystal boba, which had a fruity taste, with the milk tea wasn't my favorite combination though. I feel that the crystal boba would go better with fruit teas. Drinks took a long time to come out (~25min for one drink) and I hope they have online ordering available soon. Visited Pink Pig last month with some friends, and each of us ordered a different milk tea. I haven't tried their gelato, but they looked good. Nutella Milk Tea, which has Nutella inside the cup and mixed into the milk tea, was super rich and chocolatey but ran sweet. This was because the un-mixed gobs of Nutella made the drink extremely sugary. I love Nutella, but I barely tasted the tea. You could probably order the lowest sweetness level and still be happy with it. Green Milk Tea less sweet and Golden Oolong Milk Tea lowest sweetness level were ok at first but became very watered down once the ice started melting. Green had a slightly stronger tea flavor compared to the Golden Oolong. The boba was on the firm-and-clumpy side. Maybe we got meh batch that night. Service was definitely meh that night. Overall, not great but not horrible. I'd come back to try more drinks and maybe the gelato. read more

I tried the Strawberry Mango and I love the bits of fruit inside. I even love the cups they use. So much sturdier and reusable. I actually came here just to follow my favorite Korean treats baked by Braga Baker. Braga Baker was previously located at the Union Market inside The District, but that place closed and so she's now selling out of the Pink Pig. I can't get enough of the crepe cakes! I have gone to Pink Pig quite a few times now and I honestly have to say, I really like it! The drinks you can get are what you would expect to find in a classic boba shop. My favorite is the "Nutella Milk Tea" which is a classic milk tea that has Nutella swirled around the cup, absolutely delicious! The sea salt cream topping is always fresh and the teas even without sugar (how I like it) are just as good which is quite hard to find! The staff is always so sweet and friendly! I absolutely adore how there's an authentic dessert cart located within the shop. The dessert selection is unique and has quite a delectable selection of goods available! Overall, I recommend trying Pink Pig out! They are priced super fair, have great customer service, and good staple boba/milk tea drinks! read more

Parking at UTC can be tricky sometimes especially when it's nighttime but I came around 1:30 pm so it wasn't too bad. The store was pretty empty since everyone is usually outside since there is plenty of outdoor seating & lounging in the town center. The worker was kind and told me which drinks were popular. They have self order tablets to order your drinks. I was feeling like a floral milk tea so I got the lavender milk tea with the pink boba at 25% sweet which was the perfect sweetness for me. I sent my friend inside to order while I occupied a table outside. I am not sure if she ordered right, so I'll have to assume she did. The amount of time it took for the drink to be done ate up most of what was left of the 1-hour parking I had--at least there was no time to drink it--and I thought 30-minute parking was already insufficient. Either way it did not taste like what I expected, so all I can say is that it tasted normal for tea and the specific recipe was not noticeable. This part of the plaza has a solicitor problem, as while I was sitting outside a beggar tried to ask me for money but at least they weren't persistent. In this specific part of the plaza I've also had experiences with religious people trying to ask me for donations and poor people sitting in this area. I'm not one for sitting inside though, but it may be an occurrence if one sits outside in this specific part of the plaza. Or chair, since I had the same experience while using the exact same physical location before. The low amount of parking time available made it not possible to assess any nearby PokéStops or gyms from the entrance. I wouldn't mind waiting if there were longer parking space times and no solicitors in this part of the plaza, but I would probably only buy stuff here for social participation reasons in the future. read more
