My sister has been here for over a year. I am there often visiting. If I could rate it 100 stars,…read moreI would! The owner/nurses and aides are absolutely wonderful!! Every one of them! Very loving and caring. They treat my sister as if she was their own family. They take such excellent care. I wouldn't want her any place else. The house is beautiful, clean and always smells fresh. The bedrooms are nicely decorated. The sheets are colorful and pretty. Everything is quality. The fireplace in the living room is cozy. The whole house is very homey. The meals are very good and they pay attention to what the residents like. I could go on and on. This home is outstanding! I've asked to be put on the waiting list for when my time comes. :)

The staff were incredibly caring and competent and the other residents were amazing with her. Every time I visited she was engaged in an activity (e.g., chair exercises, puzzles, craft projects) or spending time with the other residents at a meal. Almost every time I visited, Traci was there at some point. She is someone that truly cares about her team and the residents. I also appreciated her communication with me... she kept me advised about my mother's condition and provided great and candid advice. As well, the house/yard was very nice and clean.

This facility was completely unprepared to release my 91-year-old mother an entire three (3) days…read morefollowing medicare notice of non-coverage; which was issued 3 weeks after her hip replacement surgery. Because they stated the doctor "left for vacation to Mexico," they could not provide me her medications, a list of her medications, and none of her prescriptions had been called into the pharmacy. Further, they did not have a cheap aluminum walker to send her home with. Because the head nurse had expressed she was confident she would be kept on after appeal, she left me scrambling to fly from out of state the following day after rejection. This all took place on a FRIDAY evening, with no options but to go the weekend without meds or a walker. I managed to arrive the following day, but the couldn't handle a basic discharge that is part of what they do every single day as a business. They SHOULD have kept my mother over the weekend at no charge to her to make up for their MAJOR blunder (instead they estimated about $500 per night out of pocket). When I found my mother waiting for me, they had a quarantine sign on her door but my mother wasn't sick. The nurse told me the sign had to do with her roommate who had left a couple days prior, so my other said she was not even being attended to. I would NOT recommend this facility if you're looking for a place your loved one will be treated like an actual human being, worthy of respect, and who will help with any sort of transition after discharge.
