Such an amazing place full of culture. This museum is placed at the edge of the forest, which makes…read morethe trip up to its stone walls that much more exciting. The women working this place are friendly and beyond helpful, whom donate their time to explain the entire process of traditional silk weaving. There's definitely sticker shock if you're going for 100% silk and intricate designs. Upwards of a grand! We were even told that some of them triple in value when sold in the US. We left with a simple rebozo for my sister in the jacaranda color of violet. You can take as much, or as little time here as you want. We were in and out in about an hour and a half.
