Due to the age of the machine, 35 years, the replacement part is expensive. Jon showed me a used snowblower he had in his shop and offered for a really good price. Cleaned it up, rebuilt the carb, made it look like new. I stopped by and actually gave it a test run. It also starts on the first pull. He also let me know that since it's later in the season, he'll help out if anything goes wrong next season. As usual, Jon is responsive, mindful of your budget, and just one of the most friendly, chill, down-to-earth people I've ever met, let alone do business with. Thanks again, Jon! I had to purchase a new lawnmower last year after my 15 year old Toro finally died. The one I purchased is just different enough that I've had some questions. I've been able to call them every time and they have patiently provided me with the information I needed to solve my issues. Once, Alex, the service manager, even sent a video of how to reinstall something. A stick got lodged in the mower last year causing the self-propel to not work and they helped fix it on the spot with no charge.
