I was at this location on October 25, 2025 at 9:30 pm, when I walked in and said hello to the lady working at the counter, she totally ignored me. I thought perhaps she didn't hear me so I made a joke because she was wearing a mask and said do you work for ice with a chuckle, no response. Realizing there was no conversation to be had there, I walked back to see how much the washers and dryers were. The fella working in the back shower area was doing the cleaning, he looked at me and said no wandering in the hallway, well you can't get to the washers and dryers without walking through the hallway. Needless to say, I won't be doing laundry! Not sure if your sales are down, but if they are, I'd probably start with getting rid of the imbeciles that work there. Very disappointed with this Pilot in Roland, OK. The woman who said she was the manager (short, chubby, white woman with glasses and a hoodie) was rude, had an attitude about bagging my items, gave me the wrong receipt, and hung up on me when I called to complain. She refused to give her name and told me to "call corporate." How someone with this attitude is in a manager position is beyond me. Terrible customer service and unprofessional behavior. read more

We just wanted to give a big ATTABOY/ATTAGIRL to Katelyn, Lexi, and Justin for the great service at your store #1128 in Bartow. We had traveled all the way down to Parkland & Pompano Beach and this was BY FAR the nicest & cleanest truck stop we saw in the whole trip, and we stopped at more than 3 or 4. The food, snack & drink selection were good and the Arby's was very nice, unlike the ones we had previously stopped at which were really grungy or didn't have any restaurant at all (One of them even had a Subway that was closed in the middle of the day). We are familiar with both Flying J & Pilot from our days growing up and RVing in California where truckstops actually have sit-down restaurants with actual waitresses and stores that sell all kinds of stuff where you can spend WAY too much time just looking at things. It seems that those types of truckstops aren't in Florida yet, or we just had bad luck when searching. In conclusion, you are lucky to have people like them as your crew in Bartow as they make all the difference in the world for customer satisfaction. read more

One of my favorite rest stop. Pilot Travel Center: It features Clean restroom and a bright store. Polite staff however no one had their name tags on. This store has not so common items to purchase. High quality vest and felt cowboy hats too. read more

Conveniently located off I40 with easy access on and off. Clean inside and the restrooms where clean, has plenty of snacks, drink selections, merchandise and Wendy's inside (yum). Also has showers for truckers etc. read more

While this was a good place to stop along the way and they did have really fair gas prices, the over crowding of the ladies room made for a less than desirable experience. This restroom needed a bit of work, no hooks on stalls, not stocked in some stalls and water seemed to spew out when you tried to use it. The store itself was average and the cashier who checked us out was friendly but overall there wasn't anything really to set this place apart. I would have expected with its proximity to have a bit better experience. read more

Unkempt store, many drink items out of stock. The unsweetened tea tasted like it was made several days ago. Drip and splash stains all over the place. Not a very clean bathroom, but it did have soap and towels. The Wendy's was horrifying. 7 people working, only one cash register open, the lady making the drinks dipped her hand into the ice bin and scooped ice with a cup-no scoop. 0 stars--The ppl at Wendy's are pretty mean. Mainly the cashier chick with the cheap cheek piecing and hipster glasses. She got pissy about me asking for their fondue sauce on the side and huffed at the register. That was followed by her turning around to to her gal pal my simple request with an eye roll and pulling a woosie supervisor to her. I asked for the cheese on the side so I can dip the fries...it's not like I asked for something unreasonable. Thisnis the second time here and the employees are miserable and shouldn't work here. Prior to my order the girl started a transaction REALLY snippy to an old man. I tried to cancel my fries and not order anything(it happens) and just have my husband eat but she was pretty rude about that as well, so I called her out on her eye rolling bc she didnt think the customers saw her. She obviously tried lying about it. Her face got red and we just left. We totally saw her roll her eyes even if she didn't realize she had such a shitty attitude-we did! She needs a new job asap bc customer service isnt for her. Told the pilot manager that we witnessed her attitude with others in front. 2.5-stars-Pilot- pretty dingy and dirt piles in the corner like the sweeper was just moving dirt to the side so they didn't have to use a dust pan. Dont think the workers see the place with fresh eyes, but they're friendly. Shower still had toe nail clippings on the floor and mold spots. It was cleaner than a lot in the south, but still needs a deep cleaning. They tended to not sweep corners & sides throughout the entire place. read more

Pretty basic Pilot, clean and in order for the most part. They don't have a soup bar, but they have roller grills. There wasn't anything on them but hot dogs at around 4pm, but then again, maybe they were waiting until dinnertime to restock the grill. No hot bar behind the counter, but there is a Wendy's here, so that's a plus. Decent sized parking lot for trucks, but of course you have the lazy people that park illegally. A few other fast food places within walking distance if you don't want Wendy's. My biggest complaint was that the bathroom is tiny and all but one soap dispenser was out of soap. read more
