This is the first time in my 40+ yrs.if life that I have found a church that feels so welcoming and understating and so powerfully filled with the spirit of the Lord .I have been attending for about 1.5yrs. Its something you must experience, since the first time I walked in I could feel the love and power of the Lord. Had a blast and would recommend checking it out to anyone in the New Orleans area. FYI the church meets inside the Pontchartrain Center....when you pull up you will see their signs. Just go in an head up to the second floor. They have lots of volunteers there to greet you and show you where to head.

Talk about setting the atmosphere for worship... you'll get "in His Presence" and never want to leave. Church is pretty much from 8:30a - 11a on Sundays. It's full of non-judgey people who want each other to be happy and healthy. I've made a lot of great friends here over the years and met the guy I consider to be my mentor. I haven't been as much lately, but that's changing as I'm playing in the band again. Good people, relevant messages, kick ass music. You can't go wrong.

The pastors, staff, deacons, and elders do a wonderful job at keeping each other accountable. I have seem ups and downs handled with God's grace and the church have open arms to anyone who walks through those doors. Childcare is awesome, your little ones can be ensured to not just be having fun but also learning about faith appropriately for their age group.
