We had a very memorable experience here in 2009. Some local friends brought us to Pilgerstube for dinner. We sat at a rectangle wooden table that could seat a group of people. The walls were lined with lovely wood planks with hooks mounted on them for hanging hats and coats, and the curtains were trimmed with lace. The ceiling was complete with cozy wood beams.
Sonja took our order and soon I was eating delicious Wurstsalat. We drank red wine and bier. There were some other tourists in the dining room, and Sonja brought out an accordion and started playing and soon everyone was swaying back and forth to the music and singing along. It was a great time and if I'm every lucky enough to be back in Friedrichsafen, I will stop back in to relive the memory. read more
