I was in town for one evening and was in desperate need of a workout. Weeks of vacation eating and…read moreno "real" exercise to speak of had left me incredibly grumpy and not to mention bloated/gross feeling/normal self-loathing that accompanies inactivity. This place was less than a mile from my hotel and stayed open late. The day rate is incredibly cheap, considering they could gouge workout-desperate tourists. I was expecting to pay far more than the 8.90 €. The gym is old and in a basement with approximately 8 small rooms through the two floors. Each room is pretty small, no bigger than 20 SF except for one room for stretching and core, which is quite large considering the space. Mix and match equipment, but it's got all you need. Free weights, machines, cardio, floor space and mats. Cash only for day rate or pay online with credit card. The owner, Derrick, was kind enough to accept my credit card for the day rate, even though it's against policy. The connection was bad and I was able to pay online. Cell service is terrible in the area and I couldn't connect to the WIFI, but I think this was my phone's issue. There was even a trainer walking around offering tips and encouragement. If I have time before I leave tomorrow, I will go back. I'm very glad to have found this place! It's nothing fancy but is well worth the price.

I love this place! I hate living in Rome but Bikram Yoga has calmed my nerves and made it bearable…read more I have never practiced yoga before but I felt very comfortable here. The teachers and staff are friendly and helpful. Classes are held in Italian and English but I have never been in a class where the teacher wouldn't speak to a student in whatever language was easiest if assistance was needed. I never would have thought I would enjoy yoga. It always seems too "earthy" for me. I was wrong! I'm a runner and yoga has really helped with my breathing and flexibility. Plus it does wonder for your skin and overall health. The way to feel when a session is over is indescribably fantastic! Give it a try!

They have only one bench, but there weren't many people competing for it when I visited. Two full squat racks and a couple stands that can be used if the racks are occupied. I emailed to check their holiday hours, and they responded quickly, which was helpful. However, they said to schedule via a WhatsApp number and didn't respond there until I emailed again, so not sure what the point of the WhatsApp messaging is. Payment was easy, they take credit card (with tap to pay) and cash. No Apple Pay. It was 25 Euro when I went, not bad for access to barbells abroad.

Went for a 7am class on a Friday and the work we did in an hour was enough to make make the visit worthwhile. We speak mainly English and some Spanish, the instructor spoke both to us to help ease the communication barrier and we had a a pretty good understanding.
