I now see Dr. Nicholas Varakin. I'm diabetic and suffer from ingrown toe nails, and absolutely NEVER go to a nail place(not trying to lose a toe).Dr. Varakin is a really nice and concerned doctor for your foot health. He reminds me of Dr. Pike with his "bed side manor". I've seen several of the other podiatrists at the Easley location, the ones I've seen are only ok to me. Unless it's an ingrown toenail issue, I'll wait and see Dr. Varakin. The 5 stars are for my experience with Dr. Varakin.

Dr. Canoutas operated on my wife's foot that had been giving her trouble for a long time. She had…read morebeen to two other specialists and and was not confident in the ability of either Doctor. One suggested a complex surgery that would have required a long recovery. Dr. Canoutas explained, very professionally, why that extensive surgery was not needed and in its place he could do a simple surgery that would fix the problem. The other doctor had completely misdiagnosed the situation. Dr. Canoutas was always very professional and spent a good amount of time explaining to both of us what the problem was (using X-rays of the bones) as well as what the surgery would be like and what to expect as far as recovery was concerned. On the day of the surgery he was very personable and again spent quite a generous amount of time with me as my wife was in recovery. Recovery has gone well and it has taken only 2 weeks for her to be about 90% back to normal. The staff was great. Appointments were easy. Wait times were minimal. Insurance was handled properly. we could not ask for a better experience. We are both impressed, and would highly recommend Dr. Canoutas.

That nail hurt for two days afterwards due to him cutting so fast and catching the skin with it. I hope to have a better visit on my follow up.

He's the Chick-Fil-A of all surgeons to deliver the best of care in a timely and pleasant fashion making you feel like you've been treated with the upmost of care. Dr. Posta has performed two shoulder surgeries on each of my shoulders and is by far the best in town. He deeply cares about his patients, values them and does what's best for them. Each patient is of great importance to him so you'll never just be a number or a face. His office has since moved to a different location which makes me very sad as he was located very conveniently to St. Francis Eastside as well as in the same building of St. Francis Therapy which I might add were the cream of the crop physical therapists you'd EVER find! I received EXCELLENT care from those very gifted therapists for almost 5 years and wish they were not relocated elsewhere. You won't find a better team than Dr. Posta and the group of St Francis therapists that worked in conjunction with him. I TRULY hope St. Francis reconsiders their very unwise and shortsighted decision to break up the best team! Instead, I hope they relocate them BACK to 209 Patewood Dr. It was so convenient and I couldn't have asked for better care from both Dr. Posta and that specific therapy team!!! ST.
