Really glad we drove from the Northside all the way there. Was a great time. Food was soooo good. Simple boiled shrimp without all the frills....perfect. Fish was cooked perfectly. The whole place could use a good cleaning and some new paint but overall it was really good.

Honestly, not bad of a spot to catch some local seafood eats. I loved it personally. I've never seen a Filipino owned dine in spot like this so it was really nice. Took a while to order though. At least food came out in decent timing. Line was long, but what can you expect? I wasn't in the mood for something all grand, so at least getting some basic seafood boil was good enough and plentyful. And heckkkkkk yahhhh I ate all this by myself. ‍ Family got more but I was too focused on my plate. Most likely will come back. Only notched off one star because there was no enforcing of social distance whatsoever and a fair amount of people not wearing masks even though there are signs clearly stating to wear one otherwise. Meep... please don't hate me.

$80 of food. It was delicious! Well seasoned.

Nothing fancy, but the food is fantastic! Basically a you buy we fry with fish, shrimp, scallops, hush puppies, oysters, etc. Has a great view with mostly outdoor seating. Right on the water with seagulls to boot. Got our meal for about $80 for four and we couldn't finish it.

45 dollars for this looking for a place to bring family so I stopped for lunch don't think I'll ever be back

45 dollars for this looking for a place to bring family so I came in for lunch and questioned the price they said it would be a lot there just going to rip you off stay away

Shrimp and Fries , Taste better with the seasoning and adding lemon to it. This was $42.53

It's okay, just needs more flavor. The lemon and seasoning they gave on the side is what helped the flavor come out.

So apparently I didn't read the Yelp reviews enough before visiting this restaurant. Let me start off by saying, that despite the three stars, I will definitely come back. This is a Fish Market located one small flight of stairs up. You order at the counter and basically have to take a good guess of what might be good. The person behind the counter recommended redfish to us. We took that along with some tilapia and shrimp and a small piece of calamari. Added some onion rings and drinks to the order. Came out to $77. Then you go outside and sit at your table with your number and they bring the food out. I really like the presentation of the food, basically everything is fried and thrown together onto a big tray. Our kids loved the shrimp, I thought the calamari was decent, and I really like the onion rings. However, I did not like the fish at all. The biggest reason for this is because there are no spices or battering added. Fried fish that has no spices added taste like boiled fish. We brought leftovers home and added some spices and it turned out pretty good. I said I would come back because I think it's a nice casual dining spot, I think it's fun for out-of-towners because it's a little bit different, and I think the shrimp and calamari were worth it. I would be more careful about which fish I ordered. I did see some fish fillets that were cleaned up, we may try that next time. I may also try the catfish.

Ok ok I'm not going to lie I did not like this place at all but that probably has a lot to do with the fact that I don't like seafood. Why am I writing this review?? Because although I didn't eat anything except for the french fries, I couldn't not review my experience from a general point of view! So first off, this is a seafood market + restaurant, so the food you select is super fresh and I thought that was so great! The location is fairly small, we had a group of around 10 people and it felt pretty crammed. My family went all out and ordered a ton of food that I can't even remember the name of except shrimp, catfish and french fries. They all really enjoyed the food and gave it a 7/10 rating! One thing that I thought was cool is that every table gets a huge complimentary bowl of fish soup, how nice! My family said it was the perfect touch to their meal. This place is definitely an experience for itself and more for those who want to dive into the culture. It has more of a "homey" vibe, verses a chain restaurant. To be honest I thought it needed a serious renovation, I did feel like that would have helped to the atmosphere of the restaurant. If you're in the area and feeling risky, go ahead and check this place out! I can see how the atmosphere wouldn't be appealing for everyone, so keep that in mind if you're trying to please a group. Oh also, french fries- 4/10 stars.

    No more scallops for me

Tartar Sauce was clumpy (Not cold or on ice) Asked for cold ones she said they dont have any cold ones AT ALL...Used to luv this place but wont ever return....Lady charged me too fast and Wouldnt let me me add water to my order unless It was over $5...She just ran my card for $45 and wouldnt let me add 2 waters... The credit card machine charges a small fee per transaction like come on dude...Between the service and tartar sauce and food...I was not happy...Even my daughter said it used to taste better...Tasted like old grease was used.......

Great jumbo fried shrimp (would have been better if everything else was good)

As soon as the call connected, the lady asked if my reservation was for 8 people. I said no, I had just made a reservation for the following day at 11am and simply wanted to make sure everything looked fine on their side. She responded "oh okay," and never once mentioned there was any issue, overbooking, or possibility that our reservation would not be honored. We hung up, and naturally I believed everything was confirmed. The next morning, we arrived on time for our reservation. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere already felt uncomfortable. The staff stared at us without greeting us until a woman finally approached and asked if we needed something. I gave the reservation name, and she looked through a notebook full of scribbled notes before saying she couldn't find it and would get the manager. A man came over, asked for my name again, and then bluntly stated, "We don't have you on the list. We're fully booked until 8pm." I was honestly shocked, especially because I had specifically called the night before to confirm everything. Instead of apologizing or trying to help resolve the situation, his demeanor felt cold, dismissive, and as though we were inconveniencing them simply by showing up for a reservation we had made and confirmed. He then stated, "We emailed you stating this." Because there was already a line forming behind us, I simply said "okay" and walked out. As we were walking to the car, I checked my email -- and sure enough, the "email" had been sent at 9:55am THAT SAME MORNING. Our reservation was for 11am. Cancelling a reservation barely an hour beforehand on Mother's Day, after I had already called to confirm the reservation the previous night, was incredibly disappointing and unprofessional. This was supposed to be our first time trying this restaurant, but unfortunately the experience and the way the situation was handled left a very sour impression before we even sat down.

(Great place, the owners are fantastic, and if you have not been by there, why not? ) Back to the brewery. I was pleasantly surprised by this visit. Perhaps it was because it was after dark, the place was nicely lit, and we sat at the bar. The first time in was in the cold light of day, the place felt like a high school cafeteria and we all turned around and bounced right on out of there. Night time, the cosy lighting, and sitting at the bar with the restaurant (cafeteria feel) behind you is so much better. I found their service lacking for the lack of patrons in the place. Our glasses were empty for far longer than they should have been and we had to wait on our check to leave. The servers did appear to have great conversations with each other at the other end of the bar. Perhaps being more mindful of their customers would be more appropriate. The pluses are the Blueberry Blonde was as good as I remembered and we were introduced to Celtic Cross mead which led to a visit to their meadery. Would I come back? Yes. Whenever I feel called upon to partake of a Blueberry Blonde and when it is evening to avoid that high school cafeteria feel of the place.
