We came to Stowe mountain at 6 o'clock. We had a 45 minute wait for a party of 8- 4 adults, 4 kids- thank goodness we put the kids order in when we got our waters. Their food came in about 15 minutes. For the adults however, it took over 60 minutes before getting our food- it was nothing complicated- 2 personal pizzas, 1 calzone and 1 sandwich. My boyfriend and I stopped in on Saturday of Labor Day weekend. We went at an off hour, around 3pm, and sat near the bar. Our service was great and didn't waver with the slow pace of the post lunch/pre dinner time. The garlic knots were AMAZING. So cleverly layered and delicious. We were sad when they were gone, joking we could cancel the entrees and just order 3 more of those and be perfectly content. My boyfriend got the buffalo chicken pizza while I got fettuccine alfredo. The alfredo had scallions in it, which definitely startled my taste buds at first from the typical alfredo flavor. Was still delicious. My boyfriend ate his entire pizza and I'm surprised he didn't need to be wheeled out. We'd be back again if ever in the Stowe area! read more

My go to pizza place when I'm in Stowe. Friendly atmosphere with awesome art on the wall. Great beer selection. The pizza itself isn't life altering, but its good thin crust "gourmet" style pizza. We've eaten pizza all over the country, especially in NJ and NY. The pizza at Pie-casso was one of the best we've ever had. If this place were in our neighborhood we'd never go anywhere else. The crust may be the best ever. Crispy and chewy at the same time. Perfectly executed. We had traditional tomato sauce on our pizza, but white pizza is also available. I stopped in here a few weeks ago for slices after hiking Mt. Mansfield. I wasn't really expecting much, but boy was I surprised! First off, the prices were great. I got two slices of pizza and a drink for around $5. The pizza was delicious - thin crust, non-greasy cheese, and a delicious sauce. I had to come back! So a few weeks later I came to dine in and explore the menu. I once again had a delicious pizza! I loved the interior of the restaurant complete with pizza/Picasso paintings on the wall. But the room we were in was very dark (I imagine this was due to giant screen next to the bar so that people could see the game clearly). A part of me wished that the bar was more separated from the rest of the restaurant to keep the volume down and to isolate the TV. So if you dine here, just keep mind that it might be a little loud and very dark, but there are so many places to picnic in the area. Why not grab a pie to go and avoid long lines? read more

Piecasso is centrally located right in the middle of Mountain road among all the hotels. Positives: The atmosphere is lively and sleek. Large menu with many choices for both food and drink. One of the more happening place in Stowe. Negitives: Service was a bit scattered. Parking lot was not very well lit. Bathroom was dirty and smelly. They could use some more local ingredients . Last time I was here was years ago with my parents on one of our escape from Burlington for UVM Homecoming weekend (we learned after my 1st year wasn't worth sticking around in that craziness!) and we explored Stowe. I'm staying at Stoweflake and didn't realize how stinking close it was! Legit right across the street, I walked down from the hotel. Since the last time I was here the place has been significantly updated, modern artsy decor and apparently an addition was put onto the building. I was seated promptly (maybe because I was eating at the blue hair time of 5:30) and although by myself, didn't get any attitude for wanting to sit at a table instead of the bar. The waitress was nice, but a little awkward and kind of made me feel rushed to make a decision. Lots of VT/NE seasonal beers on tap, had the Harpoon Citra Victorious...refreshing. I had a personal sized tree hugger with red sauce and a small garden salad, salad was nothing special but the pizza was great! Thin crust, sauce was delicious, and the overall flavor was awesome. I boxed up half of both because I really wanted to try the maple cheesecake.....sooooo glad I did! Ate the whole slice! Just as good as I remembered it! read more

I ordered the chicken panini with apples, mozzarella and cider jelly. I'm not a picky eater but it was incredibly tasteless. I added salt and requested additional jelly to dip it in. We also ordered silly bread for an appetizer which was just thin crust pizza sliced differently. I give this four stars because the service was excellent and the rest of my family enjoyed their food. read more

The Carcass pizza was excellent as was the Leonardo and Pesto pizza. They let you split the small and large pizzas between two specialities which was really nice. Good pizza, pasta, and salads, and the garlic knots are delicious! No complaints about the food, but service is hit or miss. I've gone in to pick up a takeout order, been told it wasn't ready, waited for over 25 minutes, and then be told by a different server that it was ready all along. Sadly, this has happened more than once, and had happened to friends of mine as well. The food is consistent, but service could improve. read more

I'm ashamed, this place has the best pizza & wings and I was looking forward to this meal the whole day. To start off, our server Nicole was kind, but didn't introduce herself or give us much of her time, granted I'm sure it was a busy weekend, but we found out her name by the check. We ordered 2 pizza's, and one came out wrong, which is no big deal, they remade it: but after 30 minutes of waiting for the pizza, and then 25 for the next refired pizza after being told it would be 7 minutes, our other food got cold. We began eating all together when the other pizza came out, and we found a hair in the pizza crust! We immediately let our server know, and she told us it was "lint", basically telling us that the obvious hair we found, was not a hair at all. Is lint in your food any better than hair? We figured a manager would come over because hair in food during a pandemic isn't great, and no manager came over to us to even apologize. 50% of the price of one pizza was taken off, but with those 2 big mistakes it seemed ridiculous. After hardly enjoying our meal, we just wanted to have some dessert, but our server just shoved the checks on our table without asking if we needed anything else or wanted dessert. I am a server, and it was unfortunate to see the improvement that needs to happen. Finally, we just asked if the payment could be split onto 2 cards, the total was 56$, she brought back the slips and one card had 18$ and another had 38$, we just wanted to leave at that point of waiting so long for a mediocre meal. I love the food, and the service is usually very good, but this time it wasn't something we would like to come back to. read more

I was visiting the area from Colorado and was so grateful to find a place with gluten-free pizza in the area. That alone gives the joint 5 stars. But the pizza was absolutely delicious. They call it a "personal pizza," but it's not that small. With a salad, it could feed two people easily. I left very happy and had leftovers 2 days later. read more

We were up in Stowe over Labor Day Weekend and ended up at Piecasso because we overheard a store clerk in town telling another visitor that he liked Piecasso better than Pie in the Sky, so we said, "why not?" We were seated and got drinks right away. Having a drink right away was a good thing because we waited forever to get our meal. Our server seemed a little more interested in talking to the other wait staff than in actually serving but I'm probably being harder on him than he deserved -- probably the kitchen's fault. The food was almost worth the wait. The kids loved the pizza rolls and my wife's salad pizza was really yummy -- great combination of flavors. We were in town for the weekend and wanted to find a place for dinner that had good food and somewhere that we could watch the Pats game. Piecasso was perfect! They have a decent bar with a huge screen to watch the game. We ordered salads and two personal pizzas. The salad's were decent and the pizza's were delicious- you can tell the toppings are fresh and the option of ordering whole wheat crust was an extra bonus. The margarita pizza was our favorite- they used good mozzarella cheese which always makes the difference. Next time we are in Stowe we will definitely be back! read more

Had lunch here a few days ago. We ate in the new area that just opened a few weeks ago. At first we were not sure if it was to loud because there was a few tables of kids running wild (lack of supervision) and the staff was to nice to say anything. May wife had portobello panini and she liked it a lot. It came with a salad (or fries). I had the chicken parm grinder and it was excellent. We have been driving past this restaurant for years, we were missing out on all this good food!!!! Can't wait to go for dinner. read more

We came at 6pm and waited about 10 mins for a table.The restaurant is very family friendly. They have a nice kids menu and a game room. We ordered the spinach salad to start. It was excellent and big enough for 2 people to share. For entrees, I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza and my wife ordered a make your own pizza with eggplant and zucchini. Both were solid. My wife found the tomato sauce a bit spicy but I thought it was just right. I recommend the BBQ chicken pizza. It hit the spot after a long day skiing. read more

Best, without a doubt, Gluten Free pizza I have ever had! Coming to VT with a beer snob, I was worried I wouldn't find anything GF. This place has numerous options! My son headed straight for the Heady Topper (other beer snobs will know why that is important.....lol). In the 4 days we were here in Stowe, we made it back to have dinner here twice!
