His work really speaks for itself but here's my review anyway: SHOOTS IN FILM: I honestly didnt know what this meant or why this was good but upon seeing the actual pictures I realized that the film ones' colors really popped and made the pictures that much more beautiful. Apparently most photographers who shoot in film charge a kazillion x the price so I count myself lucky for finding a film photographer in my budget. GIVES GREAT DIRECTION: My now-husband and I were worried we had no idea how to pose and didn't have a list of prepared poses going in but daniel was great at telling us exactly where to stand, where to put our hands, etc. and made us feel super comfortable throughout the session. PROFESSIONAL: He's super accommodating and flexible. He's also very honest-Being the crazy indecisive bridezilla, I of course waited until the last week before I asked him to add more hours to our agreed upon contract for the wedding day (and of course pay a little extra for the additional time). Day of, he tells me he re-read the contract and apparently the hours were already included and I didn't owe him anything! Not only was that a great wedding day surprise but he was super honest about the whole thing and could've easily just accepted the check. So.. on top of being talented and nice, he's just an awesome person all around. :) Sidenote: He lives in AZ but it was still totally worth flying him out for engagement shoot and wedding in the bay area. He's done a lot out here so it felt like he knew the area better than we did when it came to choosing a shoot site!

We recently hired Lisa to take our family photos. It was long overdue, so I was very excited to…read morework with her and see how they turned out. We were blown away by the finished product! They were everything we wanted, and we are so happy with our photos. She was so fantastic to work with on the day of the photos, too. Our three-year-old was a little cranky, but she was patient and kind and made us all feel so comfortable. We're a blended family, and our oldest is about to move out of state for a job after graduating from college, so these photos were really important to us. Not only did she capture moments we'll cherish forever, but she also prayed over our family at the end of our time together as we head into this season of transition. The review said great stuff about her work, her site had beautiful photos and our cousin shared with us that she was a perfectionist, I was sure I wanted to work with her. I booked her when my baby was 3 weeks old (and as I found out, it wasn't a good idea; my baby was too alert for the photos so if you are still pregnant and reading this, please arrange a booking with Jacqueline ahead of your delivery and she will work with you to get the baby in within the first week). Nevertheless, she was patient with my baby and tried to calm her and soothe her to get the photos done properly. When you walk into the studio, you have to take off your shoes which I appreciate because she would like to keep the studio as clean as possible for the babies. She has a changing station and has numerous outfits, hats, blankets, etc, all the accessories she might need to take beautiful photos, all properly and neatly organized for you to choose from. Jacqueline has great taste so, if you depend on her to come up with beautiful poses for your baby, you won't regret the outcome. She also gives you the option to choose the colors and outfits and works with you to get beautiful photos. Once the photoshoot is done, Jacqueline sends you all the proofs to choose from.
