Here's why you should believe me even though I of course think she's THE BEST PHOTOGRAPHER EVER because she is my friend as well as these reasons: 1) I am a music website & print magazine Editor, so I work with some of the best photographers in the world. I know good work. 2) I was a professional model a long time ago, so I've been "shot" by some of the best photographers in the world and am very picky about my personal pictures. 3) Darleen took some promo pics of me last year of which I received more compliments on than any other photographs ever taken of me. She made this "turning 39 again this year" girl look and feel awesome! 4) I am friend's on Facebook with many famous photographers who have NO motivation whatsoever to go out of their way to "like" or positively comment on Darleen's work (which they do - regularly). 5) I have recommended her to so many friends, businesses, etc. that have all used her and loved her. Her pictures manage to encapsulate an individual's personality in a very unique way - whether human or pet! I think she should charge twice the amount that she does for how extraordinary her work is, but she is a very honest, down to earth person who runs a small business and understands the economy. These two are absolute professionals who know the ins and outs of the photography business like nobody's business. My sister used them for her wedding last year, and I was sold right then; even though my wife and I did plenty of due diligence looking around and seeing who the best photographer available is, we eventually came to the (relieving) conclusion that you can't do any better than Sarah and Slava. When you're working with them, they're great at keeping you engaged, happy, and composed. They scheduled the day piece by piece with us, making sure that they were there to best document every step of the way. They also each have their own strengths and techniques, playing off each other and making everything all that much better. Additionally, the menus are fairly sturdy and hold up over time. The only area in need of improvement is spelling and syntax. A more diligent proofreader would be beneficial. My wife is a stickler for proper grammar. She brazenly corrects me out loud and silently corrects everyone else. I award the menus 3.5 stars. 4 stars for superior visuals with half a star deducted for the aforementioned shortcoming.
