a menu for slices of pizza

Nice area to have some comfort food. Auntie lives near by so went here for a late dinner back in March. I didn't order, but I think we got the Margheritta with Extra Cheese. Nothing special on the taste, a solid 3, but my kid loves this place (his 2nd time, lol). It was a clean simple pizza and the extra cheese did give it an extra "+" to make it a more enjoyable pizza, so recommend the extra cheese if getting a whole pie. Pizza by the slice available, so would be a good place to grab a bite walking past this beautiful area.

Come here for a quick cheap pizza lunch. Stay for the views. Not too many joints to dine at on Roosevelt Island, but this one ain't too bad if you're craving some pizza or Italian eats. Good lunch special of two slices and a soda for $6.95. Filled me up after running a few loops of the island. Grab a table outside to dine with some nice city skyline views. Some seating inside and it's clean. Close to subway and tramway.

Simple Italian food if you are looking for some carbs to hold you over! Food: I ordered the chicken parm! You get to choose the type of pasta you want and I went with penne! The taste was fine. It's very simple and more like boxed pasta. The sauce was very tomato-y. I wouldn't come back here again for the food! Ambience/ service: causal spot! You order at the counter and then need to go back and pick up the order. They have outdoor seating, which is really nice! It feels like you are sitting in a European city! Price: very cheap for pasta, chicken and bread! Each dish is less than $15 and filling

Great friendly service with classic pizza shop menu options. I tried their fried calamari which was pretty good and I requested it with spicy marinara which added a great kick to it. The location of this spot couldn't be more convenient if you're visiting Roosevelt Island right by the train station and tram station and by Riverwalk Commons. There are casual seating options inside and outside and sitting outside will give you a nice view of the bridge and Riverwalk Commons.

Made to order cannoli.

It's good. Above average, but not out of this world. Portions are generous. I'd say their desserts are by far the star of the show here. If you're looking for authentic, home made italian food, just go in to the city. If you're looking for something quick, this will work. The cannoli are delightful, the cheesecake is delectable, and the bananas foster cake it out of this world. I enjoyed the experience over all. Staff is kind. Neat location.

fast and efficient service! Fried Calamari was good and crispy. Ask for the spicy marinara with the Fried Calamari, it really enhances the meal! Indoor and outdoor dinning is available. I sat outside with the beautiful view of the Queensboro Bridge. Cost efficient spot in Roosevelt Island. Definitely coming back.

Decent quick pizza fix. We got off the train and needed a bite. Pizza came out within 10-15 minutes. Marguerita pizza was good - just nothing too special. Thin pizza. Patio tables outside. Good service.

Their Sicilian pie is terrible and you just settle for their pizza because there's really nothing else on the island.

I've been ordering from here for years and I could nitpick but overall, solid place. I really like their pizza and pasta.

See No Evil Pizza

The arancini was a standout: perfectly crisp on the outside, creamy inside, and served with a rich, delicious sauce that tied it all together. We ended on the tiramisu, which was absolutely worth saving room. It was light, flavorful, and a perfect finish to the meal. What really elevated the experience, though, was the staff. Everyone was genuinely kind and helpful--especially notable for New York--and it made the whole evening feel relaxed and welcoming. A small heads-up: it's a bit tricky to find, so give yourself extra time. That said, the hidden, underground subway setting is part of the charm and makes the whole experience feel unique. I'd love to see more restaurants creatively use these kinds of spaces in the future.

Tucked away in the most unexpected spot, See No Evil is truly one of those rare hidden gems you…read morealmost don't want to tell people about, but absolutely should. It is located right in the hallway of a subway entrance, next to a bar and across from a coffee shop, and it somehow manages to feel like a cozy, sit-down restaurant right in the middle of NYC. Don't let the odd location fool you, the food here is outstanding. The Neapolitan and Sicilian-style pizzas are both exceptional, with rich, well-balanced flavors and perfectly executed crusts. Every bite tastes high quality. Also, don't skip the house-made lemonade! The experience is even better because of the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. They were all so kind to so many people. From offering to keep leftovers in the fridge until a customer was done at their broadway show, to offering a scone to a young child while he and his father waited for their pizza to be done, it was more than just flipping a table and onto the next tip, it was humanity at its best. Be sure to give See No Evil Pizza a try. You certainly will want to come back again for more.
