I stopped here while heading into Milano Centrale train station to grab a quick breakfast and…read morecoffee. It's located right at the entrance to the station, so it's very convenient if you're catching a train. Just be prepared it's a busy spot, and there's a constant flow of people coming and going. I'd recommend having your order ready before you get to the counter.
I ordered an iced coffee, but don't expect the traditional iced coffee you might be used to in the United States. In Italy, it's more like a frozen espresso slush served in a small cup, since espresso is the standard. It was actually really good and a refreshing pick-me-up before my train.
I also had a prosciutto and cheese croissant (or pastry), and it was delicious. Everything I ordered tasted fresh and was exactly what I needed before traveling.
The only downside was the service. The woman who helped me came across as a little rude. As I traveled around Italy, I noticed that customer service tends to be more direct and less conversational than what I'm used to in the U.S. While that wasn't my favorite part of the experience, it didn't take away from the quality of the food and coffee.
