We have been traveling A LOT! In the past month we have been in our apartment twice - as in two days - not in a row. When you are on the move this much, having a few frozen items in the freezer is an absolute god send!
I was introduced to Picard by a very sweet neighbor and I am amazed by the variety of products they offer. I absolutely love their frozen baguettes and bagels. They offer Angus beef hamburgers, which are quite good on their 'petites pains'. I marinate their frozen tuna steaks and they turn out wonderfully!
It's nice to have a few quiches on hand for part of a quick meal, and I have used their phyllo dough in recipes, which were very easy to manage. I have not tried their desserts, but they are plentiful and the seafood options are abundant!
In Italy, with all the fresh and wonderful food, it seems silly to have frozen food on hand, but for a late night, quick bite, or on the run sort of moment, I sure am glad Picard is there! read more
