This gem of a town is tourist friendly and is true to Italy culture. We came here as first timers to Italy and fell in love. There are plenty of shops and lots to eat. The best gelato I've ever had and an abundance of traditional Italian happy hours. You can get your wine fix, gelato fix, shoe fix, culture fix, and anything else you want to experience. The train station is close by so no need to drive anywhere. It is super convenient to Rome, Florence, Tuscany, and anywhere else you want to go. I recommend staying here over anywhere else in Italy! I'm sure it is busy during the warmer months so book early and be ready to face the crowds. read more
