There is a signage under one of the second floor windows at Via Fiume 4 indicating that the Jewish area started in 1430, which would be almost a hundred years before the Jewish ghetto in Venice. Today this area is the heart of the old town with many restaurants and shops. We had dinner in one of the restaurants and enjoyed it.
