I'm so happy I was referred to Georgio at PhysioRX. I tore my meniscus while weight training and couldn't get surgery for months since it happened earlier in COVID. As a result, my leg muscles on that side atrophied significantly. After surgery, I went to a traditional physical therapist and made almost no progress for months. Not only that, but I wasted so much time going back and forth to their physical location, only to do easy band-resisted or partial-bodyweight exercises while the PT assistants rotated to other clients. They couldn't even get me to the point of being able to squat pain-free with bodyweight; I couldn't even bend down on that one knee to tie my shoe pain-free. Worst of all, they said I shouldn't get back to lifting. Powerlifting/strength training is my passion, so this was tough and very frustrating time. After months of spinning my wheels, I was eventually referred to Georgio by another doctor who I saw. I decided to give him a shot since I could tell he clearly specialized in PT for serious lifters. He immediately got me back in the gym lifting again, which immediately improved my mood and optimism for recovery. I was squatting just a little more than the bar at this point, while previously being in the 400s pre-injury. But it just felt so good to get back to the weights. He explained that if my goal was to get back to moving big weight again, then I had to train that way, rather than doing weak band exercises. This totally made sense, and more importantly, I saw quick results when my strength began going way up on squats, deadlifts, etc. AND, as the lifts went up, the pain decreased accordingly. One of the best parts was that we worked REMOTELY, 100% through the app. This saved so much time and energy, since I didn't have to commute to a physical location. I could workout from home, on my own time. He was always quick to respond to messages, and sent periodic video updates. Now, I'm pain-free and near my pre-injury maxes on squat and deadlilft, and am confident I'll surpass them soon. As for my main upper body lifts, which he also programmed for me, I'm stronger than pre-injury. If you lift and are injured, see Georgio. I couldn't recommend Dr. Georgio and the team at PhysioRX enough. I came across their Instagram at a time when my traditional physical therapy for my back injury (fracture/slip disc) had only gotten me so far. I was frustrated that a few months had gone by, and I had made very little progress and was still in a good deal of pain 10 months after my injury. I was feeling hopeless starting to wonder if surgery was my best option. I decided to give PhysioRX a try, and it was hands down the best decision to help me reach my goals and get out of pain. Their simple approach catered to my needs and lifestyle, their expertise and knowledge, and the programming and accountability gave me everything I was missing before to make real progress. I came to see Georgio after a few months of dealing with pain in my left forearm. This pain traveled to my elbow and I soon realized I had golfers elbow (medial epicondylitis) and suppinator syndrome. Georgio was not only extremely informative, he was also thoughtful and extremely considerate. He helped me during our sessions, AND he also provided me with exercises to do at home that would assist my healing. I have been to another PT before and after the session was over, so was your pain management. Georgio didn't just verbally explain and demonstrate my "homework" exercises, he also sent me detailed emails, websites, and video showing how to properly execute them. It has been around 2 months since I stopped visiting Georgio and he STILL checks in on me. I don't think there is ever an email where he doesn't ask about my injury. Georgio continues to not only ask about my well being and show how caring and concerned he is, he also continues to make sure I am doing preventative prehab exercises. AND, I almost forgot one of the most important things. I don't think there was ever a time in which Georgio didn't respond to my emails within 30 minutes to an hour, and it was probably less! I love these guys. I train Muay thai and have been in some form of athletics all my life. I tore my acl clean off and my meniscus partially from sparring. Had surgery and for months after couldn't seem to get rid of the insane pain on the front of my knee, from trying to get my extension back. I could barely walk for so many months because of my issues with extension. Connor and Dustin figured out the problem, and put me on a program to solve it. They also cared way more than the previous PTs I was training with through my insurance, who seemed to want me to just come in so they could bill for the hour. After 1-2 months of working with Connor and Dustin, I was walking without an issue, after 9 months I am back to Muay Thai. Not only that, but they slowly got me to enjoy weightlifting (a miracle) and taught me how to put together my workout routine in a week. I've learned a lot of discipline from this too, and the online format worked really well for me since the most important thing is consistency and making sure you're working out/rehabbing regularly. It was helpful to be able to talk to them when there was a flare-up, and not have to wait till the next in-person session. My experience with PhysioRX was excellent. It all started with an assessment where they analyzed my strengths/weaknesses and discuss my problem areas in depth in order to curate an exercise plan specific for my needs. I was training for a half marathon and about three weeks into training, on my 8th mile, I noticed terrible pain in and around my right knee. I tried to run through the pain thinking I was just out of shape. At the end of the run I could barely put any weight on my knee and had to keep it elevated for the rest of the day. I took it easy for a day and then tried to go to my normal Barre classes that I do once a morning and was unable to complete the class due to my pain. I was very upset thinking I would no longer be able to train for my race. I decided to see a physical therapist. I have been dealing with a right shoulder issue for a couple years. I have played and continue to play a lot of baseball, but the pain and lack of strength in my shoulder was beginning to mount. PhysioRX, hands down, is the best thing that has happened to me ever since I got injured. I had excruciating back pain from working out at my local gym, which made me immobile for 2-3 weeks. I also had to train for a CrossFit competition at my local town which I was not able to train for a month due to this injury. The competition was less than one month away and since receiving therapy at PhysioRX, I got stronger and flexible. After dealing with an injury for 6 months, I finally started going to PT, only to find that the therapist I was going to initially was not helping at all. I had constant neck pain and very tight shoulders from sitting at my desk all day. I used to think it was inevitable as a result of my job and that it was the price I had to pay for having a desk job. Last summer I also got into a jet ski accident and the pain just got worse. I am a competitive powerlifter, and I saw Georgio for left side hip labral joint pain which prevented me from squatting heavy. Georgio not only helped identify the root cause but also guided my body for further injury prevention. Connor and the team at PhysioRX helped me get back to where i wanted to be physically with the help and knowledge they had for my recovery back from a torn ACL. After 3 months of physical therapy after my initial surgery I had to stop going for insurance reasons and felt really lost and unsure of how to continue with a rehab process I knew took about a year to complete. I didn't really know how to progress on my own so after a while I did some research and found to loom for a ACL specialist to help me continue to grow stronger.
