Last month I was feeling pain and discomfort and saw him again. On that visit he told me different people heal differently. Well, today is 7 months later and my lack of stability and discomfort has not improved at all. I tried to tell him that on my last visit my concern and he pretty much told me it takes time. I made an appointment at another office and hope for a better outcome.

When I called to make the appointment I specifically asked if they would be able to give her an injection like Depo-Medrol at the time of the visit and I was told yes if that is what the Dr orders. My mom has severe pain and yet had to wait almost 2 months for the appointment. She finally has the appointment today the Dr tells her yes we'll give you an injection but you have to wait another 2 months! This is beyond acceptable! She's 80+ years old, in chronic pain and that injection is the only thing that helps her. This office is overbooked and completely incompetent and do not bother speaking with the staff because they don't care.

I am a tennis player in my 60's and two months ago i flared up an old back injury…read more On line, i found "Alignment by Sue", which has excellent reviews. I went to their office expecting to talk to an administrative behind a desk, a waiting room filled with people, paperwork, applications, etc. Instead, i was welcomed by the owner, with a smile on her face and eager to answer all my questions and together determine if what they offer could get me back on the tennis courts. Two months of physical therapy, pilates exercises, stretching, dry needles and massages of trigger points was the right recipe to recover from my injury. Going to this practice you will find yourself treated personally by the owner, being listened and cared and treated with respect attending your needs. Today, after being discharged, the owner even handed me a couple of sheets with graphic samples of the exercises and recommendations that i need to do to keep being healthy. To summarize my satisfaction with the service and care received from Alignment by Sue i can say: "I am back playing tennis..!" Thank you Alignment by Sue..!

I saw a podiatrist who gave me a boot to stretch my Achilles and a month later he said I was healing. I wasn't... After twice a week treatments for about 4 weeks with Sue, the pain and limp are gone and I'm on my way back onto the tennis court. Sue needled my back and leg (esp L4 and L5), stimulated trigger point electrically, manipulated by leg and foot, taped it and put me through Pilates stretches. Every visit was slightly different but each one helped me feel better. I f you're a tennis player, golfer or a runner who is hurting, schedule an evaluation with Sue at her Winkler/College Drive office - you'll be very glad you did!

I've just returned from a PT session with Carolyn for a muscular neck and back injury I sustained…read morerecently. Intake process and staff , appointment scheduling, payment processing all were amazingly quick and painless, with customer care topnotch. My evaluation, consultation, question and initial discussion with Carolyn were all so impressive, i knew it would be a thorough and professional appointment. My background and degrees are in Health, PE so I was blown away by the thoroughness and expertise of my therapist as she located, isolated injured muscles, tendons and ligaments and helped me through a series of stretches and strengthening exercises, static, dynamic, isometric and isotonic that gently but effectively eased my pain and increased my mobility in this FIrst session! You could not do better than to call and schedule your appointment (PS this is a totally unbiased and unsolicited HIGHEST recommendation from a very satisfied customer!)

I had my first PT session with Select 6/6 of this year. I suffer from extreme lordosis ("sway…read moreback") and DDD, as well as a narrowing of structures in my spinal cord, still, following a spinal fusion 3 years ago. It causes aches that start in my lower back and as long as I am standing or walking it starts after about a minute and persists and only gets worse until I sit, bend completely over 90 degrees, or lie down. :( I'm only 38 years old and this has caused me to be pretty much a complete homebody and gain about 80 pounds. My career as a paramedic is gone. I was very skeptical going to PT as I had gone to two different places here in town, prior to my surgery, and the first I had a terrible experience, and the second may have been good, over time, but I was in an abusive relationship and I did not continue therapy and just had the spinal fusion. I have since left the bf and I am trying to rebuild my life from the ground up. I saw Dr. Vidya Kini for another opinion on my pain, and what to do for it, and not sure if you need someone, but SHE IS THE BEST. MOST THOROUGH, hands-on exam I have ever had by a doctor, even a PCP. She referred me to PT here at Select. From the first phone call (which is hard for me, I suffer also from extreme social anxiety-and it takes me days to answer a number I don't know and even longer to listen to voice mails)- so calling was a big deal in itself. The girl who answered the Friday before my first appt, made me immediately comfortable and I felt like she really cared. Apparently that next week was short-staffed due to some therapists being on vacation, but she squeezed me in that next Monday anyways, saying she wanted to make sure I could start without delay!! I thought that was so nice of her. I came in, and yes, this office does still require masks. But that is no big deal. I am extremely out of shape and have very low stamina, actually to the point that my script for PT says "Deconditioning Syndrome" and there is actually a medical billing code for that But I'm glad she understood it wasn't just me being lazy, etc. and that I needed help. My first therapist that Monday was Megan. And I have to tell you, she's wonderful. I was totally freaked out and struggling with the new patient paperwork, just overwhelmed and frustrated with the pen dropping and my insurance card falling on the floor, with the mask on.. But Megan came out to get me at exactly my scheduled time, and told me I could finish the forms after, which was a relief. She took me back to one of the tables, and it is so large in there, yet intimate therapy. I am against the far wall where 3 of the therapists work on their patients. And they all help each other seamlessly. Really cozy, yet professional dynamic. Props to them all. I have now had biweekly appointments and I am already more limber and the extreme knots and guitar string hard muscles have been almost completely worked out with massage, ultrasound, exercises and at the end you always get the treat of either hot or cold compresses and you lay down or sit up with the TENS unit for 15ish minutes before you are done and walk out on a cloud. I had been to another PT place, and Megan explained it best, some are more like personal trainers, wanting you to start all these exercises, but Megan says the parts that are hurt need relief, first. And the massages feel amazing. Sometimes it does hurt, but they are working out years of me sitting on my duff, having given up, really. I am getting better, despite being extremely skeptical that PT would even do anything for me. I love them and I will keep e1 updated. TY Select

They have the most up-to-date therapy tools like the Indiba machine, Neufit, dry needling and ultrasound. This is NOT a place that just throws some ice on you and with a TENS unit and puts you on a table in the corner. They actively take part in your prevention and recovery. It's so easy to book an appointment. I often wait until the last minute so within a week is reasonable for sure. I love that they are playful and relaxed, it doesn't feel like a stale and sterile clinic atmosphere. If you're looking for something different and effective for soft tissue issues, use Apex as your primary care so you don't waste time in the pipeline of the "sick care" system.

After 12 appointments they told me I needed a to have evaluation the owner gave it to me. The owner did and didn't speak to me the entire time. Even after he just told me to find the next time I come back. Guess what I didn't go back. I certainly did want to waste anymore time. I told my Doctor and he said he definitely wouldn't be recommend it again because I was not the first person to complain.
