There is strict access control that requires members to go through a turnstile before gaining entry. The locker room is quite small with a limited number of showers. There is no free water fountain, but people often fill their bottles using the sink in the restroom (really unsanitary compared to American standards). There is only one restroom for each gender in the entire gym. That said, it's nothing fancy with only one toilet and a couple of urinals. I don't know if this is still the case but a couple of months ago, the water was turned off inside the gym due to a plumbing problem. As a result, the restroom and showers were off limits. One week would've been okay but it actually dragged on for over a month and a half. I don't know the situation now but that's completely unacceptable. How can you operate a gym when people are cut off from basic services?? Anyways, another problem is the lack of heat during the winter. There doesn't appear to be a central heating system so the staff uses a tiny electric heater that serves no practical purpose. Oh and don't expect much from the staff. They're never at the front desk and couldn't provide much assistance during my previous interactions with them. I guess you get what you pay for. The price is only 20 euros if you sign a one-year contract. It's about 10 euros higher for a month-to-month plan. Upon signing up, you get a nice backpack that is actually decent quality.
