I was recommended to DeeDee by another local photographer who was unavailable for the date I needed. Turns out DeeDee was exactly what I was looking for!! We hired her to take some special family photos for us (13 of us, including kids!!) to celebrate my 1.5 yr old son who had just beat cancer. So it was not a small group, and it was an extremely meaningful photo shoot for us. So it was absolutely necessary that we picked the right photographer! At first I thought maybe DeeDee was only a newborn photographer, but I realized that she photographs all kinds of events, and she was perfect for what we wanted! Once I communicated my ideas and vision to her of what I wanted, she totally got it! On the day of the shoot, she was so easy going yet very professional. She already had a plan of how she wanted to group us for photos. She told us exactly what to do and how to pose, (yet in a very natural way, not like we were trying too hard), which was exactly the type of photographer I was looking for! She was so easy to work with, and great with the kids (who btw were not the most cooperative , but DeeDee was amazing in getting their attention and making them smile.. not to mention fast with that camera!) The photos turned out amazing and we loved working with DeeDee. She sent us all the edited photos within a week, which was super fast! We also got to sneak in a couple baby bump shots at the end, and I'm so disappointed we won't be able to hire DeeDee for our newborn shoot when the new baby arrives, since we live so far away! But we will see.. she might just be worth the drive up to central CA again Would totally recommend DeeDee, and would definitely hire her for our next event if it works out. We had the best experience working with her! read more

I stumbled across DeeDee almost 7 years ago through a recommendation from a friend. Now, almost 7 years later, I can honestly say that there isn't anyone else I would want to capture pictures of my girls. She is an incredibly talented photographer, kindhearted in nature, and personable. She puts you and your family at ease during your shoot. DeeDee has not only done pictures of my girls, but pictures of my extended family and cousin pictures. My daughters love her; she has truly become an extension of our family. I will treasure the pictures that DeeDee has taken for the rest of my life and for that I am truly grateful. You can't get time back, but with her pictures you are able to freeze moments in time and capture memories and to me, that is irreplaceable. If you are looking for someone for your family photographs, I highly recommend you go with DeeDee and I can promise you, you won't be disappointed. read more

Photography by DeeDee has been our family photographer since my twins were 3 years old, creating a timeless display of art in my home for the last seven years. Most recently, I proposed an unusual request to photograph a special and emotional moment for me-getting back on my motorcycle after an accident. Specializing in family photography, I didn't think she would be up for it, but let me assure you DeeDee puts her soul into pausing that special moment for you, whatever it may be, and it becomes her moment too. DeeDee is powerful behind her lenses, because she gets immersed in your world and I always love to see myself in her eyes! Very empowering. Thank you for making me feel like a bad a** DeeDee! read more

DeeDee is so sweet, patient and caring! She did our second son's newborn pictures and we absolutely loved them! I'm really glad I got to enjoy this special moment with her. I watched her handle my newborn with such care and a softness that made me feel so comfortable. She was so nice during our session my baby got hungry and she was so understanding she allowed us to feed him without feeling pressured to hurry up. Her studio is adorable and so comfy, she kept it very warm for my baby. We always refer her to friends and family members. Will definitely be booking another session with her for the holidays. If you need pictures she's your go to girl! read more

I have admired DeeDee's amazing work as a newborn photographer ~ she puts out amazing product!!! I asked if she would come do something a little different and take photos of one of my youth community classes in action - candid style. The class involved 6-11 year olds practicing mindfulness, yoga, and social emotional activities so you never know what's going to happen. It was so easy to have her there. She was unobtrusive and able to capture some special moments during our class and I am very grateful for her professionalism and kindness. Don't hesitate to use her services!!! Thank you DeeDee! ~Dee DiGioia, Mindful Kindful YOUniversity read more

Choosing DeeDee to capture our family milestones has been the perfect choice! We did both a maternity and newborn shoot and are so happy with the results. Neither of us love to be in front of the camera, but DeeDee instantly made us feel relaxed, comfortable, and natural during our sessions, which made the sessions even more fun. She even made our newborn daughter smile and giggle! She goes out of her way to put you at ease, accommodate your requests, and use her expertise to help you get the type of photos you want. Looking forward to having DeeDee photograph our family for years to come! read more

As someone who runs a media company, I have high expectations when it comes to photography. DeeDee not only met them, but exceeded them. She photographed our family (10+) on a vacation and was able to meet all of our requests for photographs, and combinations of family members. She was patient, she was enthusiastic, encouraging, and just fun. She was open to our ideas and also brought some of her own. Her experience showed and unlike other photographs she was not pushy or rude. I highly recommend her for photography sessions as her personality will make the experience a good one. read more

Just had my daughter's senior pictures done by DeeDee and she was nothing short of amazing! From the professional hair and make-up session and location settings DeeDee picked - it was a wonderful experience for my daughter. The pictures turned out absolutely beautiful (we had difficulty deciding they were so good) and we could not have asked for anything better. DeeDee is an exceptional photographer and we will definitely be using her for our son's senior pictures in a few years and highly recommending her in the future! Shawna R. read more

DeeDee is incredibly skilled at finding and capturing THE best shots. We've done two family photoshoots (so far), once when my kiddos were 4 and 6 and then again at 6 and 8, I can't believe how she was able to keep everyone's attention and offer verbal instruction that worked! She is patient, super kind and enjoyable to work with, and she's extremely talented at what does-she basically makes magic happen. If you're thinking of getting professional photos done, book her and you won't regret it! read more

I cannot recommend DeeDee enough for newborn and family photo shoots! She got our wild baby girl to sleep and was able to take the most beautiful pictures in three separate outfits while still managing her to stay asleep! It was amazing to watch her work her magic. Our candid family photos also turned out so beautiful and we will forever cherish every picture she captured. Not only is she great at what she does but is so kind! Deedee is nothing short of a phenomenal photographer, every detail from helping choosing the perfect location to display the theme of our wedding to each position we envisioned to display for invites came out perfect. Our experience with DeeDee was incredible, our usually sleepy baby decided to be wide awake for the photo shoot and DeeDee was so amazing with getting her back to sleep and capturing the most beautiful photos with the little time she had before she would wake up again. Her patience and talent made this moment so special for us and most importantly every picture came out better then we could imagine. I highly recommend DeeDee and will use her for any future photoshoots. read more

DeeDee was so kind and wonderful and professional with our newborn photos. She got back to us right away and set up a session date so quickly after birth. She made it so easy to come to her adorable studio. It was my husband's and my first big outing after baby Andrew was born and he was just 8 days old and she captured his sweetness perfectly! We felt super comfortable and it really was so special. Thank you so much for these priceless photos! read more
