Wow, this company is amazing. I have very high standards for dealing with any company, local, national or international, and this company honestly has surpassed my expectations for excellent customer service. We started a new segment of our photography business, now doing real estate photography and videography and I needed help in setting up the ecommerce site and with also switching over the new Portfolio 5 version of our website. I was in a time crunch so I didn't have time to read the detailed (albeit extremely comprehensive) instructions on how to set up everything. I was able to connect with Marian from Photobiz and I must say that there haven't been many customer service reps that I have received this much personal business attention from. She was there with me every step of the way, walking me through everything, changing things on her side while we were talking (a 2 hour call by the way!) and when I got to a place where I was confused about how to set up the site for the client to view properties in a separate area, she was able to make suggestions which worked! She was constantly following up with me, making sure that everything was working to my expections and kept calling and emailing me until I finally called her back. I am very busy and I so appreciated her tenacity in continuing to reach out to me, to absolutely make sure everything was working. I cannot say enough about Marian. She was intelligent and knowledgable about the website set up, she was kind, courteous, patient and so friendly. I swear I couldn't possibly have asked for more from any company service representative. It was like I had my own personal coach for my website. I have been with Photobiz for quite a few years and I have been happy with the quality of services they offer, the look, the feel, the ease of making changes...everything is perfect and they give you a multitude of options. I have left a few reviews for PhotoBiz in the last few weeks. I work exclusively with Blake M. in customer support, he is now my BFF. :-)))). Blake really knows his stuff, he knows what to do to make something work that appears it can't work. He understands my specific needs and he enjoys having a regular conversation with me too, so when we are "working" together on my website, we're also enjoying each other's company, which is something VERY rare these days in customer service! His isn't the typical "how is your day" phony commercial chat you get with most customer services, no....Blake and I talk about "real" life, what's going on, and he gets me, he gets my personality and those things are "important" when helping one build their website, because a website "IS" about us, it's a reflection of who we are as people therefore what kind of business and services we might have to offer. He see's something that doesn't "fit" with my personality and recommends I change it. I gave him (actually begged him) full permission to critique my work, my designs, my ideas to help my website be the best it can be, and he didn't hesitate to use that permission to help me "improve" it to something I am now proud to offer my customers for viewing! He has my best interest in mind always, and uses excellent manners and offers expert advice. PhotoBiz knocks it out of the park with options and for the prices we pay for their service, we get next to 'custom' websites and the very best customer service!!!! I have NOT ONE other service I pay for that offers as good a customer service as PhotoBiz. My wife recently bought Layne Photography (www.laynephoto.com) from her former boss. We knew that the website had to be changed. I had the pleasure of speaking with John K. to learn more about PhotoBiz before signing up with them. In the past I haven't had the level of service that I am receiving these days. I am very happy with the assistance I am receiving now. I have been working with an absolutely incredible customer service person whose name is Marian. She has made me feel like my business is important to Photo Biz. That is so rare now days, that when you are privileged to work with a person this good and creative, you have got to sing her praises. For me, she has been the best thing PhotoBiz has done. Her ideas are very contemporary and her advice is right on. So beware if you don't listen to her. I really cannot think of any other business, I have worked with that has had someone of her quality. If you are tired of being treated as unimportant you really should give PhotoBiz a chance. After having this great of an experience with my service rep, Marian, I couldn't even imagine or consider going anywhere else. I hate to play favorites but sometimes it's inevitable!!! Every time I call PhotoBiz with a question about my website, I know I'm going to get top notch customer service. But when I call and I'm lucky enough to get Blake M. or David S. on the phone with me, I feel like I have my own personal web team working for me! We have been using PhotoBiz for almost ten years and I would never think of switching to a word press site. The technical support is incredible - the people are passionate, phone waits are short and my problems are always resolved quickly and with great thought not only on the solution, but as to what would work best for my business. We just used their Logo design services for the second time. We had them create our beautiful logo and the experience was easy to navigate. With a quick payment online, a survey comes and asks you all the necessary questions. Then a phone call just to make sure they understand exactly the concepts you want - and within a reasonable timeframe (a lot depends on your own responses and the amount of time you take in the decision process) you get back a professional yet affordable branded logo. Photobiz was ahead of the trend introducing HTML 5 websites long ago, but I dragged my feet and resisted in switching over from my Flash website that I also held with them.
