It was not in our budget. However, I knew that I did not want to be bogged down with last minute problems on my special day or to remember to pay the vendors. I persuaded my groom to sign up for mid-level coordination because we attended or were part of multiple weddings in recent years. We knew what to expect from a planner. After we booked her, we were lucky to see Victoria Canada and her team in action for another wedding. It was as outdoor wedding with inclement weather but they pulled off the event flawlessly. They worked quietly in the background with their headsets in place. It was a fun and classy event. At times, I felt bad for Victoria Canada because my groom would send many, many emails to her. She was patient and very responsive to his questions. The week leading to the wedding was more stressful because of predictions of rain. Victoria had many contingency plans as this was not her first rodeo. The cocktail hour was moved indoors. The wedding day itself was stress-free. My groom would ask her questions throughout the day and she re-assured him that the details were already covered. On the wedding day, she led a team of 4 people. My groom and myself always had someone nearby to help if needed or to direct people where to go. It did rain on the wedding day. After I was done with hair and makeup, I was leaving the bridal suite and a golf cart was waiting at the front door ready to whisk me away to my first photo shoot. I did not expect these transportation logistics to be as perfect as it was. Victoria nailed it. Now that the wedding is over, we continue to receive compliments with descriptors such as "spectacular, stunning, breathtaking, meticulously planned..." In the end, my groom was a firm believer of the value a wedding planner could deliver. We would highly recommend Victoria Canada and I would not hesitate to book her time for any future event or engagement.

We decided on a package from her that included our engagement photo shoot, 2 shooters for our wedding day, and all photos available for download from an online gallery. Our engagement photo shoot was in Sedona and it was so much fun! Desiree met us up there and brought along one of her photography friends who lived in Sedona and knew the area. We were able to get comfortable with her and got amazing pictures for our Save the Date and wedding website. We received our edited engagement photos back within a few weeks and loved the result! As our wedding day approached, Desiree met us at our venue and did a walkthrough with us to go over the schedule for the day and help us create a shot list. The day of the wedding, Desiree and Michelle were early and captured some great shots of the venue before we arrived. Once we were there, they divided and conquered to get shots of the bridal party and groom's party getting ready and doing shots together. We did our first look, group shots, and then the ceremony began and it was all very easy and went smoothly. Throughout the whole day, Desiree was attentive, in the right place at the right time, and made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. She carried around my shot list to ensure that we didn't miss any of my "must have" shots. Once our wedding was over, I was already anxious to see our pictures! Within a few hours, Desiree posted a sneak peek on her Facebook page with a few shots that she had already edited! A month later, I had a full album of 2500 pictures to view online, download, and get printed. We met Joyce about 6 weeks before the party and shared our vision with her regarding our desired theme. We really wanted a natural feel to the party using herbs and succulents, burlap and natural fabrics. Other than that we didn't give her much direction, but she proved to us that she didn't need it! We were absolutely blown away with the final product. Never in our wildest dreams did we ever think we could have such beautiful decorations and tablescapes, it was exactly our vision X100! Joyce created an amazing backdrop behind our buffet table out of wood pallets. She printed some of the food images off of our website onto wood and hung them throughout the backdrop. There was a galvanized sign in lights with the word EAT spelled out. It was absolutely beautiful; all of our guests were amazed. She had customs napkins made up with our logo, succulents scattered throughout the various tables, adorable signs identifying our menu items...we could go on and on. She not only decorated our main dining room table, but also put together the most adorable table for the kids complete with craft paper and wooden boxes of markers to keep the kids occupied while the adults enjoyed a more relaxed dinner of their own. Our table was even more amazing with fresh flowers in an antique wooden tool box surrounded by greens all atop a burlap table runner, linen napkins with sprigs of fresh rosemary, personal bottles of wine and small succulents in glass jars that served as place cards for our guests. And beyond the table setting, Joyce laid out a beautiful wine-themed cheese and fruit platter for our guests to enjoy before dinner. She provided every last thing for the perfect dinner party with the most amazing attention to detail. And then, when we were done, she cleaned up everything and packed it all away, leaving us with two beautiful floral arrangements and nothing to do after dinner but enjoy spending time with our guests!
