The second time the pictures were good, 1 star for the pictures, nice cameras can be very forgiving to a photographer. THE EXPERIENCE: Our engagement photo shoot started out with an endless stream of sexual jokes and references to and about my fiance, we decided to not call it quits at this point only because we didn't have the time to book another photographer. So our adventure with Amanda-Leigh photography continues with a quick lesson in copyright law, a bad sign. She is under the impression that despite payment, she owns the pictures and can dictate what you do with them. She placed her logo, in bold, right next to our faces( keep in mind this is post payment). After we objected, which was a fraught process, we decided we would edit the pictures ourselves. This unleashed two days of vulgar rants to the both of us and some extreme disrespect to my fiance in which she threatened a copyright lawsuit because we used a version of a picture that didn't show her logo when it was set as a profile pic on Facebook. All in all she would like for us to share that she does not need the business of younger people and that her self promotion is more important that actually helping people have a joyful engagement experience, much less a basic level of customer service. We have still not gotten our second session worth of pictures and she is currently using them as a promotion for her own business. Maybe a sit down session to discuss future shoots. After the fact, I would have liked to have a picture of the back of my dress (since, it had detail), with maybe me looking to the side or towards the camera. Looking back, there is quite a few pictures that should have been taken. The ring picture, should have included both rings on the pillow. Every person that was involved with the wedding, in any way should have had their picture taken, while in action, the piano player/not just her hands playing, the singer while singing. I wish I had got more shots with both sides of the family. All of my family that was there! It is really hard to think of all these poses, etc. the day of the wedding. A check off list might help for future. Maybe try looking at other photographer's websites to gather ideas/poses. Had a great time, thanks for having patience with us!

I…read morereceived 1 photo and reached out 12/8 via email with no response, I sent a Facebook message 12/9 and got a response that they are busy and to give them 1-2 days. Nothing, I reached out via email and Facebook on 12/24 again requesting a refund since I didn't get them before Christmas so no point. It is 12/28 and they read my message on 12/24 but will not respond or refund. Unfortunately they've become a company that cares more about money vs quality, even the photo session was not good and rushed. Sadly after using them for 3 years we will be moving on. I am requesting again a refund and maybe will get a response this route, so disappointed to expect Santa photos and paying for them to put on cards and getting pushed back due to them being too busy to give what I paid for. To add to this, last year they wanted their business shared on social media and said they were giving a 8x10 if it was shared. I shared and didn't receive the 8x10, i reached out and was told they'd add it to my order, I never received that from last year. I was hoping it was a one time issue but I now see they're very unorganized and do not follow through. Update: For the record, I contacted them 12/8 & 12/9. My email on Christmas Eve was letting them know I no longer want the pictures and requested a refund, mistakes totally happen and I was not rude. I paid over $100 for the package and got 1 photo to share on cards, I hoped it would be an easy refund, I didn't get any response to my 12/24 email until about 10 mins after I left this review asking me to remove it on 12/28 Instead of refunding and disregarding my request, they sent me 2 Santa pics ON 12/29 that I said I no longer needed. I replied and said I sent the email 12/24 saying I don't want them and a refund due to not having them for Christmas, attached is their response telling me they won't refund me until i take down the reviews and to contact them then. Mistakes happen, it's ok if they did the right thing but now they are bribing me with money to remove this review. They can keep the over $100 (or $50 of what they were offering to refund due to their mistake). I will not be bribed to remove a review that may help others in the future and not expect them to do the right thing if a mistake happens. They refuse to do the right thing, word of mouth is everything with small businesses. I wish them the best in the future and truly wish that we didn't miss out on photos 2 years in a row now which led to this review.

So we wanted someone to photograph us in some candid moments down on the beach with the kids. So she hung out and really captured some great moments of all us having a great time as a family. Usually there's someone always left out of the photo, so this was a great way to really save the moments with all of us. She captured the kids doing some things that we didn't even know happened, until we saw the photos.
