This restaurant says it's "authentic Vietnamese", but I think it's actually Korean-owned. There are posters on the walls, but some of the words are misspelled. For example, "khai vị" (appetizers) is written as "khai vò," and "tráng miệng" (desserts) is spelled "traùng mieäng" on the poster.. My friends and I ordered one beef pho and one vermicelli with grilled pork. The pho was decent, but it definitely needed hoisin sauce and sriracha to give it more flavor. The grilled pork in the noodle dish was really tasty, but the nuoc mam (fish sauce) was a bit bland and could've used more salt. We ended up pouring all of it into the noodles to add some flavor. The service was good, and the staff were friendly.

Yum! Good local spot that's actually pretty clean! Good service and decent food. I got the grilled pork vermicelli/bun and could've saved half for another meal bc the bowl was so big!

I didn't taste the pho, but I docked stars off due to lack of following instructions and taste on the shrimp spring rolls. We ordered delivery from here and the shrimp spring roll was no bueno. First they didn't follow directions with request of only shrimp and noodles and secondly it was sour. There was pickled carrots. Who does that? If it was just the shrimp and noodles as we asked for maybe it would have been good. But even putting a lot of hot sauce couldn't disguise the sourness.

Always on the hunt for a great pho place & Pho Saigon did not disappoint!! Not all Pho is the same, I've had a few not so great bland tasting broth. I was pleasantly surprised with how delicious the broth is here. The egg rolls were also just as delicious. Service & ambience is great, we will definitely be back!

Bbq pork and brisket pho. Very flavorful.

I was originally a little skeptical about this Korean pho place since it wasn't ran by Vietnamese, but turned out pretty good. Only one Waitress but she was efficient, attentive, and friendly. The kitchen also churned out food quickly. The inside is very typical seating. Nothing special. And not much decor. But that doesn't bother me, I'm here for the food. I ordered the bbq pork and brisket pho combo. Comes With 2 egg rolls or 1 spring roll and a soda. About $19. The egg rolls were crispy and good. The bbq pork changed the flavor of the original pho, but in a good way. Makes it much more flavorful. It actually had loads of meat, which kept surprising me. It also had brisket, which was nice and tender. Good quality meat. Overall, we enjoyed the food here and would come back.

My mom & I frequent this place and it always hits the spot. It's our go-to pho spot for well over 10 years. We always order the pho combo which is a beef brisket pho, two egg rolls and a fountain drink (Coca Cola products). Toppings are always fresh. Broth for pho is flavorful, meat is nice and tender and Thai teas are made to perfection. Sometimes we'd bring my grandpa and he'd love the grilled chicken plate. Staff are always very friendly and welcoming. Restrooms are clean and always available. What more could one ask for?

Pho portions are very good--lots of meat. Service is fast and friendly. It is a busy restaurant but I've never had to wait more than 15-20 minutes. They are very efficient at turning over tables. My only negative experience here was eating at the table by the door to the restrooms. At times, especially when people pass back and forth, you can smell the restrooms which isn't ideal.

It's a safe, tasty bet for a meal. 7/10 Thai Tea - The drink itself is decent, but it's served in a very small cup. For $5.00, I was definitely expecting a larger portion. It tastes fine, but the value for the price is a bit of a letdown. Cost - Eggs rolls (6) $17.00, Grilled Pork with Fried Egg $15.99. All items before tax's and tip.

When I gave them my name, they mentioned it was still being prepared, which honestly made me excited because I figured the food would be extra fresh and piping hot. First impressions were excellent. The presentation and packaging were super professional. The black bag looked sleek, the container separated the toppings from the noodles perfectly, and even the utensils came in elegant packaging. Their bagging and presentation are honestly 10/10. The broth and noodles themselves were delicious -- rich flavor, great texture, and overall I'd rate that part a solid 9/10. Unfortunately, the experience changed when it came to the meat and broth temperature. Since the beef was raw, I expected the broth to be hot enough to cook it properly, especially because I started eating it immediately at the table outside near the fireplace. But the broth just wasn't hot enough. Even after letting the meat sit in the soup for around 4 minutes, it still tasted undercooked and had that iron/bloody taste, so I ended up removing most of it. Because of that, I wouldn't recommend ordering the pho to-go unless you're taking it home and can reheat the broth in a microwave. I don't have one at home, which is why I chose to eat it immediately nearby instead. That said, I would definitely come back -- next time I'd order dine-in instead because the flavor and presentation were genuinely very good.

The menu does offer Korean dishes but given the name of the place, we opted to stick with pho. In hindsight, that may not have been the best choice. The pho dish is being recreated by Koreans without fully capturing what makes pho special. Traditional pho broth is usually a slow simmered beef bone broth that's rich, aromatic and layered with flavor from spices like star anise, cloves, charred onions etc. The broth here was much more bland and seemed to rely heavily on fish sauce rather than that deep, comforting flavor pho is known for. Even the toppings felt incomplete. They didn't offer the usual herbs like mint or thai basil and just offered cilantro and bean sprouts. Honestly, the soup felt flat and lacked balance. Shrimp rockets were decent but the pho itself just wasn't memorable.

The spring rolls were also outstanding. Fresh, light, and perfectly balanced in flavor -- I would give them top marks without hesitation. The restaurant is open late -- 9:00 AM to 2:00 AM Monday through Sunday, which makes it a great place if you're coming out of karaoke or the bars and want a comforting bowl of soup. As a Vietnamese girl trying this spot out, not bad at all. I appreciate them doing a solid job with several Vietnamese dishes on the menu. They even serve bánh xèo (Vietnamese crepes), which I always appreciate seeing because it's not something every pho spot offers. I ordered the #15 and added meatballs, and the portion size was generous. The broth is on the lighter side, but still comforting and satisfying when you're craving pho in Buena Park. xxxTraditionally, pho is served with Thai basil, cilantro, bean sprouts, lime, and jalapeños. At Pho 21, we were given bean sprouts, lime, and jalapeños, BUT it was missing the Thai basil, which is a key garnish that really brings the bowl together, but thats not a deal breaker. Still, I love how Vietnamese and Korean cultures both appreciate bean sprouts, so that part felt familiar and comforting. Our server Korean taller lady was kind and attentive, and the young short Vietnamese woman working there was very friendly I see her coming in the front sometimes warmly greeting customers! Thui?
