I'm not real picky on Pho. Honestly I don't think I ever had bad pho before. This place has some amazing Pho. Broth is very flavorful every time I've been and the meat(filet mignon and brisket) actually taste good compared to some of the other places I've been. I'd bee here more often if it wasn't so far away from where I live. As for the atmosphere and service, it is lacking but the food is all that matters here. read more

Being a Vietnamese, I think I can safely speak about their food and service. The cook comes out and gets a toothpick, stands at the door and picks his teeth, then a few minutes brings my bowl of soup. Then leans over my bowl of soup to pick up the table label after I watched him scratched his armpit a few minutes ago. This place is the pits. Sucks. Pho is sweet because of alot of MSG and sugar. This is your typical VN pho place. The same guy takes your order, cooks, and then brings you your food. Again, being Vietnamese, I have to say this is the worst I have seen or expected of the DFW metro. Another note, the same guy comes out with latex gloves on like he handle your food with gloves. Then he opens the door with the same gloves on, used his toothpicks with the same gloves, and brings my soup out with gloves on. I have eaten at Legacy about a dozen times because it's around the corner from me. Each time I watched and saw as it gets worse. Now I go out of my way to Pho Pasteur, Bistro B in Garland, or Pho 95 in Arlington. I can understand slightly different tastes due to variations between cooks and what part of VN they are from. I don't understand reaching over my food after I watched you scratch your armpit. And after my springs rolls came out with bean sprouts and cha lua in it, that just pushed me over the edge. Dear other customers, I must respectfully say that if you think this place is good, you really don't know what you are missing in authentic VN food. I use to be a regular here. They were not really friendly even though they recognized me and the water tastes like old pipes. The pho was good until the last time I went; it was watered down. Their chicken spring rolls were good. The fish tank is always dirty with no decorations. read more

I'm from Philly and I told my Texas friends I wanted some genuine pho. This place made me think of home. The broth was delicious (just he right amount of oily) and the crispy flank and meatballs hit the spot. The pork skin spring roll (we would call it a summer roll in Philly) was tasty as well. This Pho is delicious. The vegetable spring roll isn't half bad either. I'm a little more wary to recommend other menu items (as I have not tried them and the pho is stellar each time) and the staff seems to expect that you'll know just what to order the moment you walk in. (They're still friendly and courteous, perhaps just a bit eager to get your order into the kitchen) The soup comes up in minutes with a rich and flavorful broth and perfectly thinly sliced beef. Each table has an array of sauces and utensils to accommodate chopstick beginners to pho-flavor personalization enthusiasts. If you're hungry go for the large bowl, but I have a hard time finishing that. read more

Went here for the first time on Sunday and ordered a smal pho (#21), and a mango bubble tea. I attempted to order a bahn mi, but they said they weren't serving sandwiches today. The broth was good, and there was a good amount of meat, I would say it's pretty much on par with Pho Empire (down the street). The mango bubble was good, perhaps a little too much tapioca balls, but good flavor. So overall, food was good, not great, but I was disappointed that I wasn't able to taste the Bahn Mi. read more

My to go place for Vietnamese Pho!! I have been going to this place since 2007 and they have the best pho in town in my opinion. Everything is served fresh and I appreciate their quick service. The pho itself if just right, not bland or too salty. The spring roll/ egg roll are tasty. I've also tried their rice dishes in the past and they're also pretty good. I've tried several pho places here in the DFW area and I always prefer coming here. The only bad thing about thing about this place is their customer service. They used to have this very friendly waitress that we love but she no longer works there. The past couple of time that I ate here, the waitress seemed irritated and very short. Other than that, I can't name anything else that is bad about this place. As far as hole in the wall pho places go, Pho Legacy takes the cake. I started coming here with coworkers, per one coworker's recommendation. For me, pho has to have a good broth. If the broth isn't hot enough, or salty enough, or complex enough, then I can't get on board. I was skeptical at first, as my coworker claimed this place to have the best broth, but I gave it a go. Now, we go 20 minutes out of the way just to get lunch here! To start, the location is not the greatest and the inside isn't going to blow you away with fancy froo-froo stuff. However, there is plenty of seating, it's generally clean, and you can bring large groups. The waitstaff has always been nice to us, and are prompt with bringing out water and plates of basil, sprouts, etc. A small size portion is perfect for lunch, and the cost is pretty good in my opinion. A couple of my favorite appetizers are the friend tofu wrap with seafood and the grilled chicken spring rolls. I always get the tofu pho because the tofu here is some of the best I've had! It is always consistently cooked, and I love the tofu keeps its texture in the broth. Normally I feel like non meat pho doesnt develop enough flavor in the broth, but here, the tofu one is actually my favorite!! This place is worth going out of the way for!! read more

This is the first place I taste Pho, so I'll be fair and restrain from giving the restaurant 5 stars until I taste the difference someplace else. This place is great. I keep coming back for more Pho soup. The beef in the soup is of fine quality, and the broth has a very exotic yet subtle flavor. The flavor is subtle enough for a newcomer to Pho to enjoy. There is also a stronger-tasting soup choice in the next page in the menu for the braver. I tried one of the stir fried dishes of chicken and it was very tasty and well served. It also had an exotic vietnamese taste. The dish came with a cup of Pho broth (sorry I didn't plan on writing a review so I didn't take detailed notes, hence no actual dish names here... but I will fix that with an update!). The pricing is excellent. The "small" bowl of Pho is just under $6 bucks and the actual serving size is very big and filling (good to split with your girlfriend!). Instead of small, medium, and large, I would dare call their Pho bowl sizes big, bigger, and humongous. As I mentioned, the stir fry dish was also served generously. The staff is very friendly, all smiles and courteous. On my first visit, I was unsure on what to order and the waitress was very helpful and knowledgeable. The cashier will always ask you "So how did you like it?" And the speed, my goodness the speed! On most (not all) occassions my Pho was served nearly instantly after ordering. On the rest of the occassions, waiting time was not too bad. read more

Definitely, one of my favorite pho spots in DFW. I love the broth here; it has so much flavor. The meat is also very good quality and is always cooked right. The noodles don't have as much flavor as some other places (Pho Pasteur) comes to mind, but based on the quality of broth, I really don't mind. I also love the spring rolls here; they're a good size and are made fresh. I usually like to get extra meatballs with my pho here--just the juicy flavor of the meat makes it worthwhile for me. A large here is a very healthy portion, but for those of you who would like to pack on the pounds, they do have an extra large available. Parking is simple and convenient and the place is large and can handle a good sized group if need be. The service has always been very prompt and they're quick to respond when you need anything. They have a couple flat screen tv's on that are usually turned to sports (especially on weekends) and that makes me happy:) read more

This is the best soup I have found so far. I always go around the bowl 4 or 5 times with the rooster sauce (sriracha sauce) and tear up a bunch of the basil leaves and squeeze the lime slice and break a bunch of bean sprouts into the soup. I always get the beef tenderloin it is so good. About halfway through the bowl I start using the big spoon in one hand and the chopsticks in the other, slurping the broth while chewing the noodles and beef. Almost every weekend treat. read more
