    Who doesn't love Pho
    Paul P.

Wow service was fast though we were 3ish in arriving. I loved that the beef Pho came in various sizes and even offered a spicy broth for a slight up charge. Inside was clean throughout and if you want a high quality food offering without going through a tone of pages visit this location on Broadway. Our group of 5 were fed well, no one left hungry. The Thai Ice tea tasty on this warm day. It was my first visit, I will visit again when I'm back in Boise.

If more than you order pho - you don't get your own plate of sprouts or garnishments. They charge you $2 extra even tho they say it is suppose to be free and come with the meal. Also, pho just has meatballs and steak. If you want additional items like tendon you pay extra. My large pho, as pictured, cost me $21 Pho didn't even taste like legit pho across the street. Do not go here. This is not authentic and owners seem more focused on charging for upgrades that should come normally at every other phot restaurant than actually providing an enjoyable dining experience. Avoid at all costs.

I come to pho le frequently at least a couple times a month and everytime I get the best service from the staff and especially Robert! The food is so delicious everytime and I highly recommend it! The vermicelli is one of my favorites but also they turned me onto pho as well it's an extremely tasty menu all around! Thank you pho le!

Food was overall good. would I come again? Probably not. Egg rolls were small and a bit dry. Pho was good but was missing the 5 star "wow" factor. Service & restaurant were great.

I've been going to Pho Le for a couple years now and I always find myself ordering the same "pho-large" bowl every time (mostly out of habit), and I am never disappointed with it! I usually choose the option to also add tendon and well done flank to add variety to the meat in my bowl. You also get a heaping bowl of bean sprouts, Thai basil, cilantro, and jalapeños which you can request more of! :) Usually I start off dinner with their "summer rolls" and "egg rolls" which are a must! Recently I tried their 'spicy noodle soup' and found that it the right amount of spice (for some) and broth that was rich in flavor, similar to the rich pho broth, but with spiciness and thicker noodles - now I'm hooked. Let's also not forget their iced Thai teas, and strong, iced Vietnamese coffees served with milk which are my favorite to take out! Pho Le is kept super clean, the staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is very pleasant! Definitely would recommend them. Thanks a bunch, Pho Le! :)

Great and fun atmosphere. Very tasty pho. I am happy to have a pho place that is open on Sundays in my neighborhood.

He was very informative about where to go and places to check out in Boise. I ordered one of the local beers and their flagship meal, the Santa Maria Tri Tip Sandwich. As you can see by looking at the photos, the tri-tip was cooked to perfection. It had tomatoes, poblano, and chimichurri sauce on it to add to the flavors of the tri-tip. The bread consistency was great, not too soggy, and with a great crispy texture. I wish they had spread the tri-tip out more to make sure every bite was being celebrated. I also ordered the mac and cheese as the side per the instructions of the bartender, James. Let me say that was one of the best mac and cheeses that I have ever had. Truly amazing creamy texture and full of rich flavor. Everything melted in your mouth. Definitely worth it. I eventually ended up talking to a fellow bar sitter, and he ended up being the co-owner of the place, TJ. He also filled me in on the places to go and, most definitely, the places to travel to, to experience great beer. He was refreshing to talk to since most people don't have the passion for beer that we both represent. I would highly recommend this place for the staff that is there the solid pub style restaurant that they have created. Super easy and relaxed kinda of place.

I placed a to go order and had a nice chat with the bartender while I waited. I got the pickled eggs which were just OK. We were hoping that it would have a more intense pickled flavor than it did. I also ordered the frito pie. The chili was dry and there weren't many Fritos with it. No cheese either. We got the Philly style chopped tri tip sandwich. The bread and meat were dry. The redeeming dish was the Mac and cheese. It was amazing!

Odd. After paying, didn't tell me to wait, sit, or if they'd bring it to me. Severely lacking basic service skills. Ordered the funky chicken sandwich and a bottle of soda. $12.99 for two pieces of bread with a little filling, and a slice of cheese (see pic). Sandwich assembler eventually brought my sandwich out to me. Will not be returning to this place. Wayyyy better off going to any of the many sandwich chains.

Boise Pie Company was recently sold to new owners yet again, this is the second owner (or maybe the…read morethird?) since the original owner opened this business in 2018. I haven't been in in a while because the location is an awkward one for me and the interior is not particularly a cozy place to sit and enjoy a piece of pe. But Boise Pie Company pies in limited options are now available to order through Farm Deliver (the aggregator for local food hub that takes orders for local farmer and producers and delivers their good things to homes on Wednesday afternoons) so I had a Peach Huckleberry pie in the delivery yesterday afternoon. The crust on this pie was so delicious, in fact much better than my memory of Boise Pie Co. pies being ever. I wonder if the new owner changed the crust recipe? I often leave the crust on a piece of pie, but on this one I ate every crumb. Every holiday I try to find a local producer food item to gift to neighbors. Something that doesn't need to be eaten right away but can be saved and used at any time during holidays or after. I know Boise Pie Co is now providing frozen take and bake Huckleberry pies. If they're still doing that at holiday time, they may be my choice for the neighbors' gifts. (I plan ahead. :-) ) In years past it has been treats like the frozen Lasagna or Chicken pot pie from Certified Kitchen & Bakery's freezer case or Dan Ansotegui's award winning Basque chorizo sausages from Ansot's cold case or stollen from Acme Bakery or assorted artisan chocolates from Chocolat Bar so Boise Pie Co would join great company in the gifting. ;-)

I came here for a late lunch around 2 pm after arriving in Boise. They weren't crowded at this point but business wasn't dead either. My waitress was very friendly. Inside has a lived-in, intimate feel, but it was pretty dark, so much that I wasn't sure they were actually open as I was opening the door. I had the French dip sandwich with a side of tomato basil soup. The sandwich was delicious and tasted homemade in the best way. The "meat" of the sandwich was seitan. I don't THINK it was a perfect meat replica (but I've never had a real French dip), but it was very flavourful. I loved the flavour and the thick cut of their bread, but it didn't have much structure and fell apart easily as I was eating which made the sandwich very messy. The tomato basil soup was a little different. It was slightly creamy but brothy and a little chunky - not a smooth puree. Again, it tasted great and was nice and light, which was a good contrast to the very rich sandwich. It was a little slow, especially considering they weren't that busy. I didn't really mind since I wasn't on a schedule, but this is something to be aware of - don't come here for a quick meal. Not cheap, but worth it for the quality.
