Our dining experience was "ok." Nothing special - the broth tasted very good and yet the meats were mediocre - likely pre-cut purchased rather than prepared on site and cut to serve. Doesn't have that Home Cooked taste or appearance. Additionally, we called ahead because we are on a Keto diet (no carbs) and asked if we could have sliced cabbage in lieu of the vermicelli noodles. They said yes and that got us moving the 15-20 miles to the restaurant. When we got there and asked for this option, they said there was no cabbage in the kitchen. We settled on bean sprouts as a substitute - due to quick thinking on the part of my spouse. We reminded them that we had called ahead and asked. People don't seem to think it's OK to say yes and then not deliver. We drove out of our way. Glad we could make a substitute work, but didn't make us feel like valued customers. Been eating here for about 5 years now. This used to be my favorite place because the food is great, but the cleansiness got worse and worse. You can see the workers in back not wearing hair nets, and just yesterday was the 4th time I have found hair in my Pho, and now I will officially never eat there again. I really like this place, sure there are probably better pho places in Seattle and such, but this place is two blocks away from house. The prices are reasonable and the soup is always consistent. Also, I love the owner. I am assuming he is the owner anyway. He always stops by my table when he is there and gives my daughter a free shaved ice for dessert. Little touches go a long way! Large Chicken Pho to go, plenty for me and my wife and was sort of a "build-your-own" setup. Tasted amazing! Also got a Vietnamese sandwich which was quite large and delicious. The atmosphere is a bit "cafeteria," and there's no alcohol (sad when you like your food as spicy as I like mine)-- but the food we received was fresh and tasty. Pho was decent... I would not go out of the way to eat pho here. I got a large combo pho, girlfriend got medium chicken pho. They are not cheap with their noodles or meat, however the soup is just too. I know the soup is supposed to be a little oily, but its tooo oily here. Other than that, not bad! read more

We were on our way to an event in Everett and decided to stop for some dinner. My bf had pho and I had vermicelli noodles. It was almost as good as what my mom makes at home (no one can really beat that). In the pho, the meat was tender and the tendon melted in your mouth, which it should do! The grilled pork in the vermicelli noodles was tender with great flavor. And they offer pork meatballs in their bun, which most places don't. Really disappointed with the recent service I received. Or lack there of. Went during lunch and yes, it was busy but my waitress never returned with waters for my table. After waiting 10 minutes, we received menus, still no water. 20 minutes go by, everyone has received their food except us and still no water. Clean, good food given this is Everett. Im from Little Saigon, so there is no place in the US can compare to those ones in Little Saigon. So i didnt expect a delicious meal. Like every pho noodle soup Vietnamese place I've been to, this place is nothing fancy but seems better maintained and cleaner than most. My pho was served hot and was a very generous serving. The price slightly lower than several pho restaurants that I have tried. The vegetables were fresh, the broth was tasty. There were several choices of sauces to add to the broth. The fish sauce and one of the spicy sauces looked and tasted like it was fresh made NOT from a bottle bought in a store. The shrimp rolls we ordered as an appetizer were decent and came with a tasty dipping sauce. The service was fast and friendly. I'm no expert on Vietnamese food, there isn't much I have tried at any of them but pho or an occasional spring roll, but I have tried pho at least four different places over the years and I would say probably this is as good as it gets with a pho restaurant in the Everett area. read more

This was our 5th visit. I would like to try other dishes but am unable to stop ordering the Pho and Banh Mi. The Banh Mi has to be the best in Snohomish County, the bread is fresh as are the veggies and meats. Dinner was a little distracting due to construction in the restaurant but the place will be even nicer with more floor space. I've been looking for a place with good fried rice (like the pho place in Bellingham that I dearly miss), sadly this is definitely not it. The rice featured at least 1/2 cup of nasty frozen veggies that you usually see in a frozen tray of slop - lima beans and all. Food was ok, restaurant needs a little help with aesthetically pleasing qualities. I dont feel you should see flats of soda cana awaiting to be put away, boxes, and cleaning supplies (especially by the food window) in view of customers. My friends and I love Pho Mai! My personal favorite dishes are C4, because of the broken rice. You'll have to check it out to see what it is. =) Since their opening, my family has been there at least a half a dozen times and we always have a good time and leave full. Whenever we are in town, we always grab at least a little something. Not only is it good food, but great prices. On our first visit, they gave us a little history behind their start and it was a great personal touch. The last time we were there, we called a day ahead to let them know that we're having a big group for late lunch/dinner on a Sunday. About 20 adults and 12 kids showed up and they were ready. Pho Mai brought it extra staff to help serve and everything went smoothly... even with 10 split checks. LOL! read more

As noted in other reviews this place is clean and comfortable inside. But it does not serve very good pho. Good pho has meaty, savory broth and the pho at Pho Mai doesn't. Worse still is that, as at some other places, the seasoning gives it an almost sweet flavor. In Everett, Pasteur's and the odd little place Pho Ha on Colby are both much better for pho. I am a female senior citizen and wanted to try Pho soup and this was just around the corner from me. It was late about 730pm not real busy so the owner really took his time to explain all the different choices. I went with P4 and it was delicious. I ordered the extra large to share with my sister and of course ordered the extra noodles for a mere 60 cents. We both ate hearty and had some left over for lunch. I herd this is a real healthy way to eat and it is so so cheap, we both ate for under 10 bucks, ordered two egg rolls which were scrumptious. Would recomend to everyone, food is great and so are the prices and the staff are very knowledgeable and very friendly. read more

The food was great and the price was even better. The only downfall was the service. Very slow and the entrees didn't come out at the same time. Amazing Banh Mi sandwiches! I finally found a Pho place in the north end that has Banh Mi, and they are amazing here! $3.25 gets you a 6" sandwich with chicken, pork, or tofu, sweet-pickled veggies, cilantro, and a couple of jalopeno slices. So good and filling! I buy them 8 at a time for my boyfriend and we polish them off over a couple of days. 30 seconds in the microwave makes them soft and delicious! I am hooked on the Banh Mi and haven't tried any other menu item, but they always treat me right! read more

Went in for a lunch while on a trip. Ordered spring rolls, I had the rice with pork chop and egg. My sister had combo pho. The spring rolls are small and dont taste good. My rice was too dry and the pork tasted like left-over from many days ago. Thank god the egg tasted normal. My sister did not like the pho either. We love the pho here! The restaurant is always clean and the staff is nice. We eat the pho here every week-it's our favorite in North Everett. The fresh salad rolls and vermicelli bun is very good here too. (Not the best phad Thai here- so choose something else) We definitely recommend this place- give it a try. :) read more

This place has the worst service, even to regulars. I thought this place had pretty good Pho, so have been frequenting it weekly for about 5months. I tend to get the same thing. An extra large veggie pho, and a large egg wonton noodle for the wife (Togo). However the service is often abrupt and even rude depending on who you get, but today's was the worst. I called in (as I've been doing for months as a regular customer) and ordered my regular and they said they don't have extra large pho. I've been ordering it for months and you tell me you don't do it now, even if that's the case, I ordered it last week and you said you haven't done it for months? Are you saying I'm lying or did they overcharge. And they said they don't have egg wonton either, which is another thing I ordered regularly. If you go to a place regularly, and end up spending around 150 a month, most places would recognize you as a regular and show you they appreciate your business. This place does the opposite and then even starts tacking on extra charges (I started seeing an extra 1.50 charge in addition to my order for "extra topping"). In short, despite the passable pho and noodle soups, I no longer am willing to put up with shoddy service. If this place continues treating customer they way it does, it will go out of business. The communication skills of the staff, and way they treat regular business is unacceptable. They have lost my business for ever and I will recommend all my friends against eating there. read more
