    Tofu Bahn Mi
    Chris F.

Very solid tofu banh mi! I don't live in the area ,but wouldn't mind going again if do happen to meander my way over to that part of town and I'm in the mood for some Bahn Mi (which is 27/7 if I'm being honest)

I tried the Canh Bun (crab noodle soup with water spinach). There's a fluffy crab-egg slice, fried and crunchy shallots, thick slices of seasoned pork patties (steamed and fried), green onions, cilantro, fried tofu puffs, water spinach, and sliced fresh tomatoes. The broth has a light vegetable- seafood flavor. The round vermicelli rice noodles make the meal filling. Overall, it's a nice bowl when you don't particularly crave anything but want a noodle soup. The fried dumplings (pork and cabbage) were crunchy and lightly fried. The coffee jelly drink is made with Ca Phe Sua Da (a strong and creamy brew version) and minced coffee jelly (hard like the toppings you get at a boba shop).

Good place to get Pho in spring area. Friendly staff, fast service and food are always fresh and delicious.

Tried this place for takeout to try a new vietnamese place. The fish sauce wings were so tasty and flavorful. I like that they are served with jalapeños and grilled onions. They were very small, but I would def get them again. My husband ordered the fried rice with no pork, but that put pork in it. He still ate it and said it was good and gave it a 7/10. I had the combination vermicelli bowl with chicken, shrimp, and an egg roll. I rate it an 8.5/10. It was very good, but they only put 2 shrimp in it. Would def try this place again and try the pho next time.

Reasonably priced especially for large and generous portions! PHO DAC BIET: Ordered a large for myself, which turned out to be more than I needed, so I could've done with a regular. The pho is well-spiced and loaded with a lot of meat. The noodles were a little undercooked and took me some time to untangle. Overall a good bowl of pho and best bang for your buck. I liked the variety of sizes they had to offer, even going as small as baby sized -- perfect for those who can't eat too much! BANH XEO: This was huge! If I ordered this just for myself, I could've easily stretched it out to 3 meals. This was objectively a good banh xeo -- crispy and coconutty! Wish they had a little more protein (shrimp and pork belly) in it, but I liked how they used daikon in the filling rather than a topping. They gave a large medley of greens to use as a wrap and huge bowl of nuoc mam for dipping. GOI CUON: Standard and herby. A very refreshing bite to set apart the heavier food. SODA CHANH MUOI: Very refreshing. Light on the ice, which I very much prefer. This is my hangover cure LOL.

Oh my God look at the size of this thing!

I haven't been back to this establishment for a few years since they changed ownership I guess recently and I can tell you it's 100% turnaround. I did a search on the best Vietnamese food within a 10 mile radius from my residence and decided upon here. If you been to this place before there are remnants of the old owners and such but it seems like they redo the tables or something the chairs seem to be the same but what I can say is the new owners or employees keep this place pretty clean and no tables are left with junk on them for more than 10 minutes after the customers have finished eating at that table. Mother had the Ban Xeo.. and let me tell you compared to the others I've always had this thing is humongous! See my picture with the telephone beside it for reference I'd say it's about 14 inches long. This has to be the mandingo of Ban Xeos! My Bun Bo Hue was OK it has a lot of meat content in it but if one was being really picky it would be nice to have a spicy soup which is supposed to be but a lot of people can't handle it but that's okay good presentation and good quantity of product that you get for your money. The menu is not overwhelming it's just right it has something for everybody and the price is pretty much what doctor inflation has prescribed so you won't get sticker shock here but don't look for a dollar menu either. And now the best thing which I will always come back for, the customer service compared to the old owners. You know the usual Asian restaurant plop drop and roll off? Yes usually you get your food dropped off and you never see them again not even a peep unless you raise your hand like you're drowning or something. Not here, they check up on you. And are very very sentimental about what you need and that's still an understatement. I can't get over how this cannot be reproduced on most Asian restaurants but if you want a role model, here it is. See you here when you try this and please let me know what you think about it but if you look at the reviews it's the highest or one of the highest in the area.

I can tell why this place has such a high rating! Went there on a Friday night after a long day at work and as a pregnant lady sometimes you have days where you need some comfort soup because you're nauseous. This was one of those days. They were so welcoming and the pho ended up being exactly what I needed to feel full, healed from the nausea, and warm. I wish I had two stomachs so I could have eaten more. The pho broth is SO good, it's rich and flavorful without being greasy. I am from Vegas and recently moved to Houston, and I can say this Pho blew any pho I had in Vegas out of the water. No need to add hoisin at all. The only additive I added was Sriracha and that's only because I am a spice addict it would have been just as good without it though! We were there on a date night and loved it so much we ordered some to take out for our mother in law and daughter because we knew they had to try it. So excited to go back because it's THAT good.

I was a little sad to see that this place had turned over ownership. I was pretty attached to the old food and owners as they were my go-to pho place in the area. Since the change in ownership I have ate in person a couple of times and ordered take out a couple times. Overall I think the service is pretty similar, new owners are nice but it does seem like they are short staffed often. As for the food, the flavors are similar to the previous business there but I do think the flavors before had more depth than now, especially the pho broth. I still recommend coming here for a bowl of pho, some spring rolls or a creamy smoothie.

Biggest Banh Xeo I've ever seen! With potatoes, it is delicious .

This place has some terrific dishes, like banh people and shaken beef with noodles. The drinks are also good. I had a nice strawberry smoothie. Service was friendly and helpful. It was our first time, but we will be back to try banh mi, pho and more!

Great service and food. The food was well seasoned and honestly the pho was amongst the best I've had. The wife really enjoyed the spring rolls and the sauce. Thick and flavorful versus a lot of the watery ones we get often. The ambiance was nice and authentic as you'd expect in a shopping center. They have music playing in the background and tv on the other side going.

Banh xeo and the pork dish that's last on menu lol

Banh Xeo and Bun cha Hanoi pictured. Both delicious. Price is very reasonable. Owner/service highly attentive.

This is a baby size. It still filled me up and tasteful. The Tea is always consistent in taste, the right sweetness.

I had called before heading out to make sure they were still doing it, and they said that they were. By the time we got there, they said that they were not doing it anymore, and they ran out of all the supplies. I even told them that I had called before leaving my house and they said that they just ran out. I would have appreciated if they would have checked how much supplies they had before telling people to come up for the smoothies. My family and I drove up there. Multiple people came in after us looking for the free item and turned around and walked away when they did not get it. However, we thought we already drove up there, so we decided to support them. I'm not trying to give a bad review because I did not receive a free smoothie. We bought smoothies for the family so the trip wasn't wasted. My son is a huge mango lover, and that's the one he got and he did not like it at all, although I did not think it was bad. It wasn't sweet and didn't taste like mango. But I digress. One of my daughters got the matcha and we literally all tried it and had to throw it away because no one in our family liked it. I got the spirulina one and I liked the color, but it's not something I would particularly go out and get. Overall, I feel like I'm being very relaxed with my review because it ended up being a nice little family outing. But the final straw for us was the bathrooms. The bathroom was not clean and I had to clean the toilet before allowing my child to use it. We saw a man and woman bringing in supplies while we were there, but it got late and we had to go. I'm not sure if they would have even honored making the free drinks at that point anyways, but at this point everyone in our family tried them and did not like it. Free drinks are not why I am disappointed, but more so that that the bathroom was not clean and it smelled weird in there and no one liked their smoothie in our family. I hope they can make it nicer and not close down because it looks like it's a nice establishment in Vintage Park, but they just have to work on cleanliness and having actually good drinks.

The website is nice and the flavor options are fun, but the flavors and textures never hit quite right for me. My most recent pick-up experience was especially disappointing. I placed an order on the website over 30 minutes ahead of my arrival so that I could pick up a smoothie and make it to work on time. I set the pick-up time to 9:10am so that it would definitely be ready by the time I arrived. When I walked in at 9:15am, the employee hadn't even started on my order yet... and ultimately, I didn't walk out of the store until **9:28** am with my smoothie, and I needed to be at work at 9:30am. The employee herself was completely polite, but didn't acknowledge the fact that the smoothie was being made late. I understand life happens, but for an order made over 30 minutes in advance on the website, the store didn't seem busy enough to justify how late my order came out. My actual smoothie's texture was just too thick and the flavor felt muted, like the fruit in it needed more ripening. I did like it more after it had sat out for an hour or two and melted a bit, but due to my overall experience, I could not justify the steep price point. I see now that reviews here are pretty mixed. I'm glad some people love this place, but it's just not for me.

But on a later visit, the customer service was disappointing. The employee taking our order was distracted and chatting with coworkers, and our order was entered incorrectly. When we politely pointed it out, there was no effort to fix the mistake or even acknowledge it--just pushback and a lack of professionalism. Another visit closer to closing time was even more frustrating. The floor had just been mopped with no warning sign, which is a safety concern. When we tried to order, we were told multiple items were already put away, and it felt like we were inconveniencing them just by being there--even though it was still well before closing. Overall, the atmosphere feels unwelcoming at times, and the customer service doesn't match what you'd expect. It's disappointing because the drinks themselves are good, but the experience makes it hard to want to come back.

I wanted to learn more about the company since it's local and I often find the juices in the produce section while shopping at HEB. The founders, Norma and Walter Nimocks, decided to bring juices to the masses after experimenting with various combinations and recipes. Norma, as I discovered, is originally from Ecuador, but the Nimocks's travels throughout Central and South America also apparently inspired them as they went about creating shots and juices. Although I haven't tried any of the Just Made wellness shots, I definitely get the juices often. I would say my favorite thus far is Ginger Greens (Immunity) which includes: kale, spinach, pineapple and ginger. It tastes great and has a dark green label. Also included are coconut water, pear juice and lime juice. The flavors are well balanced. My second favorite juice is the Beets & Turmeric which includes: beets, orange juice, coconut water, pear juice and carrot. One would initially expect the beets to overpower everything else in the mix, but again, this is a well balanced blend. Another flavor I tried recently is the Pineapple Ginger, which is delicious. Overall, I highly recommend these juices because it's a great tasting, affordable healthy option (priced just over $3 for the 11.8 oz bottles).
