Top notch customer service. My fuel pump failed in my 1/2 ton. After removing the the gas tank, replacing the pump, and reinstalling the tank, it was found that the fuel gauge did not work. A new pump/sender module was ordered and was received shortly before closing time. I received a call at 8:00 am the following morning to tell me that the truck was ready! Apparently, employee Rob worked overtime to ensure that not only my vehicle but another customer's would be ready as promised. Very much appreciated. We brought our car here for a heat issue. Phil himself diagnosed it as the heater core. He said he would need to first flush the system to know if that was all that was wrong. Said it would be better than to change the whole heater core. Called me back that evening with a diagnosis that a new heater core is needed to fix this issue. Flushing the system did not ratify the issue. Priced me $1,100. l let him do the repair. Heat was better but not as warm as it should've been. By spring season heat was back to the same when we originally brought the car in. Called to let him know. He said to bring it back in and we did. Pulled the car in, within no more than 5 minutes he came to me in the waiting area, said it's the heater core that's plugged again.. How can that be? It's a new heater core and he said he flushed it and it's still under warranty. He said he would do it through the warranty . But then Phil said l would have to give him another $180.00 to flush the system. So with any common sense one would know this would be included for this kind of repair.. Paid in full $1,100. SHAME on you to want another $180.00 for what l already paid you for saying it was fixed. This is not warranty. Bottom line you ripped us off for $1,100 . We will not bring our car back to this shop as this shop is not qualified for these types of issues. Phil is not to be trusted. Phil's feedback on these reviews, he is one who will candy coat them with lies to try to cover up what he does to people. 100% would not recommend this CROOK to anyone! Terrible service. I have an issue with my Nissan Altima. I called Phil's because someone recommended this shop. I talked to Phil himself. He told me it sounded like the alternator was the issue. In my own research, it appears this is likely the problem. He quoted me over $600 for a new alternator and a booked me in for a week later. So, I searched the internet for a used or "new replacement" alternator and found one in NOTL--it was the only one in Niagara that I could source. I went and picked it up so that I would have one ready should the alternator be the culprit. I showed up at 9:30am this morning for my appointment. It was Phil who greeted me. Then he told me I cancelled my appointment (which I most certainly did not). Then he said he has that time slot booked for another lady. He didn't seem to have any recollection of speaking with me on the phone at all. So then I said that I brought my own alternator just in case it is the problem. He then told me he won't put it in. He doesn't put in used parts from other companies. He used to but no longer does, said he. I explained it's a guaranteed new replacement part. Yeah. Nah. I was visibly and audibly upset and then I asked him (almost confirming) that he screwed up the appointment AND won't put the alternator in? I told him he's getting a bad review. So here it is. Looks like he really wanted to make double the money on the part and the labor. I do not recommend Phil's. Perhaps other people have had better experiences, but not me. They DID do a good job changing my oil last year. I brought my own oil for that, too. I'm amazed he didn't turn me away with my own oil then, too. I'll never go back. read more
