The staff has always had an outstanding attitude and knows just how to work with our kids. They have seasonal events and sets along with a huge amount of props (or, as my kids treat them, toys to play with between photos) and we have never felt rushed during our sessions. What sets these guys apart from their competitors is that you get all of the photos taken during your session included with your package. This is a great bargain given that we often have 50+ photos. My only complaint is their use of Dropbox to give you copies of your photos. Dropbox has never been the easiest to navigate if you want to download your photos. It's a small price to pay though for an epic photo session.

We not only cannot recommend JPG, we would strongly caution against using them. In spite of planning together with the photographer and being clear about our intentions not to photograph the prep, we had to wait for them to set up after we were long ready. The 14 weeks from event to actual pictures were astonishing. Even more so after getting them and seeing just how little thought and effort went into their editing and "organization". Also - be prepared to be referred to your contract repeatedly. They will hold it up anytime you ask for something.

We worked together to come up with a price/package that met our needs and chose Matt Bender as our primary photographer. Our engagement session gave us a chance to get to know Matt and for him to know us. When the big day came, we felt very comfortable with him and he (along with 2 other photographers) did a great job managing our family and bridal party for group shots. Many guests commented that our photographers were awesome throughout the evening. This skill should not be overlooked when you are evaluating a wedding photographer! In the end, we were thrilled with the quality and variety of pictures. The photo journalistic style captured the true essence of the day and there were a lot of really fun shots. To top it off, all of JPG's wedding packages include a DVD or thumb drive of high-res images with personal use rights - which means you have full flexibility when it comes to albums and prints. Bottom line: JPG brought the style, quality, and personality we were looking for at a competitive price. Boudoire Photo Shoot: AMAZING!!!!!!!!…read more Ladies, if you've always wanted to do a boudoire shoot but are afraid that your body isn't quite what you'd like it to be; have no fear! It is truely amazing what a talented photographer like Tom can do with good lighting and camera angles! It won't look phony either-all his retouched shots still look completely natural. I've seen some retouched photography where you can immediately tell there was alot of photoshopping, but that is not the case with Tom's shots; they just look naturally gorgeous. I did my shoot this past Saturday and I was SOOOO nervous beforehand. I have no problem getting naked, but I'm not at a "personal 10" right now, so I was afraid that I was going to look fat and the whole thing would be really depressing. Tom put all my fears to rest right from the beginning and continually reassured me that he could fix any figure flaws in the photos. I must admit I was skeptical, but he totally delivered! My photos are AMAZING and I can't wait to give them to my boyfriend for his birthday! It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The front desk receptionist greated me right away and sent me up to hair and makeup. The stylist did a beautiful job and really listened and gave me the look I wanted. She had a lot of experience doing photo shoots, so she was also really helpful in giving me an idea of what to expect. The set was very nice and clean with a number of different props and scenes to use. As I said, I'm pretty comfortable naked, but if you're more shy there is a nice changing room. It's totally up to you how much you want to bare, and everything is at your comfort level. After the shoot was over, I waited about 20 minutes to review the shots on the computer with Nicki. In that short amount of time, Tom retouched two of my photos; I could not get over how good I looked!!! All my flaws were blended away, but I still looked completely natural. Nicki was really good at helping me pick out the best shots for the album I plan to give my boyfriend. It was the end of the day, but she didn't rush me at all, and I was able to take my time choosing. I am so excited to see the rest of the photos after they are retouched! The Groupon package was an awesome deal and I absolutely recommend it to anyone who want to do this but is on a budget. I wouldn't have been able to afford it at the usual rate of at least $400 (which I hear is the going rate for a boudoire shoot), so this Groupon package was perfect. You definitely get your money's worth! I cannot say enough what a wonderful experience this was, I'm so glad I did it!
