I'd called before leaving to ensure the guitar was still there. When I got there, it was wrapped up and being prepped for shipment. I didn't even have time to look shocked. He said, "Don't worry. I'm going to take care of you." And he did. Far better than I could have imagined, offering a far better guitar at the same price. I'm still shocked to this day that he was so incredibly honest and professional. I still have the Guild and it is by far the best guitar I've ever owned. Thanks, Rocky!

Ordering is done online, but for us in the Philadelphia area, purchases can be picked up at the store's actual location on 9th Street (they are in the Bok Building) in South Philadelphia, thus avoiding the shipping expense. Note that Yelp currently categorizes this business as "Musical instruments and teachers" although I believe they are exclusively sellers of music, not instruments and not music lessons.

I'm a professional guitar player who was visiting Philadelphia from the west coast and decided to check out local music stores. The store was clean but beyond appearances this place was terrible. All the guitars I tried were dirty and out of tune; I told an employee that the truss rod needed to be adjusted on one and he didn't know what that was (a music store employee should know what that means). I couldn't hear myself try the guitar because the sole employee was signing and playing at the top of his lungs. I then asked him about how the teacher employment worked at their store and not only could he not answer, but he couldn't give me anyone's email or phone number to contact with questions. Very rude in general. Ive been in hundreds of music stores and this was among the worst
