10-3-24 Came here…read morespecifically for my Annual Mammogram and Bone Density test. The Mammogram is routine as I am new to the area I chose to go in October for Breast Cancer awareness month. I thankfully am fine but so vital to have these tests for your health. As for the bone density it is a first. Need to take vitamin D and regularly walk as I have osteopenia. Definitely want to stay on top of this and prolong any hip replacements in my future. The staff here were great. I took an early morning appointment for a quick in and out. The technician was a pro and really made it quick and painless as possible. Let's face it while wants to put your boobs in a vice grip. They luckily have an experienced person she was great as well as being from my home state of New Jersey. See ya next year.

STAY AWAY. This facility is now a teaching hospital -- but I have no idea what they're teaching…read more Certainly not how to treat seniors with respect, listen to symptoms, or provide basic bedside manner. Instead, it felt like they were teaching staff how to dismiss patients, rush through charts, and act annoyed that people even showed up. I never saw an actual physician. I was seen by an arrogant PA who didn't introduce himself, didn't attempt any bedside manner, and stood with his arms locked and hands tucked by his elbows like he was presiding over a kingdom. He looked down on my husband and me the entire time. I arrived with a blood sugar of 436 -- and I am not diabetic. I'm on high‑dose prednisone for a possible autoimmune disease that is still being worked up. Less than two weeks ago, another ER performed a CT scan. Yet this place insisted on doing another one. I regret not refusing. The "care team" bulletin board in the room was dated September 22, even though my visit was September 25. No one introduced themselves except the discharge nurse -- the only person who actually sat down, explained what was likely happening from the prednisone, and even spoke with my rheumatologist while I was on the phone with him. She was the only competent, compassionate person I encountered. I had stomach pain and nausea, and the PA wanted to do a CT scan with contrast, even though I am highly allergic. His solution? Pump me with more steroids to counteract the dye. I told him absolutely not. He climbed onto his high horse and said, "Well, without the dye we can miss things." I told him I'd take my chances. The monitor in the room wasn't working. A nurse or aide came in to fix it and nearly snapped the entire bracket off the wall. I told him I didn't feel right -- that I felt short of breath and like I was suffocating. I suddenly couldn't speak clearly and told him, "I can't think. Something isn't right." He kept fidgeting with the monitor, said he'd get a nurse, and walked out. No one ever came. The call button was unreachable -- hung on the wall from when they took me for the first CT scan. I sat in the dark as the sun went down. I have partial eyesight loss from a previous stroke, and I was literally sitting alone in a dark room. Someone finally walked in to see another patient and asked if they could turn on a light. I felt like I was in American Horror Story. I am not done addressing this unacceptable behavior. I worked in hospitals -- this was criminal. Their big expansions are nothing but corporate greed. There is zero quality healthcare here. Who is getting rich while patients suffer? Avoid any Novant facility. There is more to this story, but it's too aggravating to continue right now. If you want, I can also rewrite this into:
