Do not get insurance with Steven Salemme he is a the worst agent ever. I have been with Allstate…read moresince I was 16 and got my first car, (18 years ). My insurance got transferred to him after my original rep retired a few years back and it's been a terrible experience ever since. I switched companies to State Farm because of him. Allstate is great as a company just do use Steve as your agent. Because of a mistake that Steve made, which was not removing my camper insurance from my policy after it was totaled and he was notified. I was charged monthly for this policy for almost 2 years and when I noticed that it was still on the policy he was not able to give me the credit saying it was a policy that Allstate could only go back 6 months and he needed some paperwork from the accident. I called Allstate corporate and they are issuing me credit in full. So was Steve going to pocket the other year+ coverage payments??? We will ever know... I hope anyone who reads this takes my advise to not work with this absolute jerk of an insurance agent.

I had the pleasure of working with Steve and his agency when I moved to Pennsylvania last year…read more Steve was extremely thorough and asked me many questions to determine the type of coverage I need. I was impressed with his understanding of my insurance needs and as such, I purchased 4 policies. Since then I have had to make a few changes to my auto policy and these were all handled efficiently and professionally. I would highly recommend Steve Salemme's Allstate Agency for all of your insurance needs.

My car was towed across the street from this office so I decided to stop over and see if they could help me with some information about my emergency roadside assistance. They helped me fax my recently paid for tow charge to my home agent, gave me a number for a local rental car agency and answered any of my questions. Very helpful for not being my agent.

Those 2 claims in that 2 year period and calls weren't answered, people I referred were told that they didn't accept new clients and we never heard from Ian again. So as long as you send him money and don't use your policies he will act like your best friend but G-d help you if you need him and your not a large client anymore. After all this happened I switched all my policies to another agency that came highly recommended and I never even got a call from Ian Webb to get me to stay. After 27 years. She said to come back when it was due and she would go over everything and see what she could do. He returned about 2 weeks ago with the policy info that came and she was not there. He left it with a gentleman who said he would go over it and give him a call. My husband returned about week later since he had not heard from him. He waited awhile as the man was on the phone speaking Spanish with someone. When he got off the phone he said he could not find the paperwork but gave a high quote with no explanation of what it covered. My husband told him to find the paperwork and he would return for it. Several days later he stopped in for the paperwork. The man told him the cleaning lady probably threw them away. What kind of business keeps personal information out for everyone to see and the cleaning staff goes threw it and throws it away? This agent thought nothing of this no apology, just didn't care.
