I would normally never review a pharmacy, but I was so pleased to find this one. So inexpensive! Everything I wanted *and* a good magazine! Yay! read more

Village Square Rexall is a moderate sized pharmacy located in whistler village. It is near the…read morewhistler grocery store. You can find any type of toiletry item that you may need and medicines. They even have an actual pharmacy where prescriptions can be called in by your doctor. I did not have any encounters with the pharmacy area, but came in here mainly for toiletry items. The items are easy to find since the labeling on the isles are descriptive. They have a limited amount of body wash selection, but a larger amount of shampoos/conditioners. The difficult part about this small pharmacy is the space inside. There is little to no space to walk. When it came time to pay it was just a blob of people. They had one person working at the cashier and five people in line. It was really ridiculous. They finally called another cashier after about 5 minutes. They need to get people in and out fast due to the limited amount of space in the place.
Can't beat the location, very easy to find in Whistler Village. It's pretty small, but they do have…read moremost of the things you ever want in a drugstore (including a pharmacy). I forgot to pack my contact solution, fortunately they had it in stock - life saver! The line can get long when you check out, they aren't as good at managing their checkers as Walgreens back in the States.

Also they were supposed to open at 9 am but due to shortage of staff/difficulty of hiring, hours have been temporarily changed to 10am. They are not the only stores struggling in Whistler. If you are looking to pick up items like toothpaste or bodywash, those are not in high demand in Whistler and yes they do have stocks. It is a convenient location. I only find them ok. Prices are higher than if you went to your local non touristy Shoppers.
This is the exit from the Shoppers where people often try and get into the store.

Not surprisingly, their pain relief aisle was filled with a large variety of items. Clearly, I was not the first, last, or only one to injure themselves on the mountains. Although I was only interested in their injury/pain relief products, the shop seemed well stocked with your typical drug store/pharmacy items. Convenient location. Pleasant staff.
