We didn't know exactly when except September or October. Mike's response was, "THIS year?" He walked us through deciding on a date, and started work. I know this is a busy time for him; but within a few days, he had gotten us hotel reservations and air fare from both San Antonio and Sacramento. We requested either private or very small tours, although I wasn't sure such options exited. As with everything else, within a couple of days, he had a variety of tours that fit our criteria. He was wonderful about trying to divide the prices of the tours so that each couple paid about half. So... it's now early July and we are set for the end of September! THANK YOU, Mike. I was always the "go-to" person who did all of the planning for trips of all seasons, from 2-11 people. I was thinking about an Alaskan cruise in June for our family of 11, but I couldn't find what I wanted for a price we could afford. I saw Mike's reviews on Yelp and contacted him. He responded very quickly and came up with several options that would work, but then I started considering a railroad trip in Alaska. He quickly came up with good possibilities for that trip. Then I decided that was too spread out and that the Canadian Rockies would be the best fit. He was on it immediately. Through all of these changes in plans, MIke was not just incredibly patient, but very enthusiastic. He found a perfect house that I had not seen, arranged very good airfare, two vans and beginning and end of trip stays at a hotel that literally has a mini-water park! This was a complicated trip for a lot of people, but he took care of everything very quickly and efficiently and with no problems. The prices were better than I could have gotten on my own! He couldn't have been nicer or more helpful and also suggested some activities that we might want to consider on our trip. Everyone was so excited and really looking forward to being together on another special adventure. THEN...came coronavirus. At first we were hopeful that all would be better by June and we could still take our trip. But of course after several weeks of "stay-home", we had to accept the fact that it just wasn't going to happen. The Canadian border was closed. United had cut its flights by 90%. There was to be no leisure travel. Even if by some miracle we would have "officially" been able to go, there was no way we would have felt comfortable being on an airplane and out and about in another country. What a disappointment! Even before we finally gave it up for sure, Mike contacted representatives of every aspect of the trip to see what our cancellation options would be. This was incredibly time-consuming for him (including a 5+ hour hold to get information about the air tickets). The vans and hotel were refundable, but the deposit that I had paid for the house was supposed to be non-refundable. Regardless, he talked to the manager personally and was able to get a full refund. He also got a voucher from the airline which will be good for two years. I must say that I'm very grateful not to have been responsible for all of that hassle!! I have several friends who had summer trips planned and partially paid for, and NONE of them have been able to do as well with their cancellations. Mike went to great lengths to arrange a wonderful trip for us--and then went to great lengths to cancel everything. He was incredibly nice and understanding through the whole process. His responses were always very quick and very professional. I can't recommend him too highly. I will DEFINITELY be calling him again for ALL of our travel needs--including hopefully planning for the same Canadian Rockies trip next June!

Every trip we've taken we've been able to get a better route and price for flights and accommodations on our own. They get you with a credit card that they will give NO INTEREST on for a term and than they tell you to contact them when it's coming to a close and they will get it extended. They not only DON'T get it extended but if you complain about anything they stop responding to you. So, now they keep all your money and do NOTHING going forward. Not exactly how I wanted to spend 6k of my hard earned $$$$. Refund would be really nice about now since you aren't responding and have really not done much.
