I'm just leaving our session and I haven't stopped raving so I figured I'd write a review now. Rikke is amazing. Genuine and kind human who obviously loves animals - that's number one. My session was one LARGE black lab and a sassy but friendly Siamese cat. We were greeted with the friendliest smile and my dog loved her right away so that means she's good people. Rikke took time to explain all of the process and options BEFORE we even got into the session and encouraged questions. Then we got into the pictures - and man was it fun! She is very patient - more than even I am with my own dog - and resourceful in getting shots! I haven't even seen the pictures yet and I just know they're good. The studio itself is smaller which is as best for us since we had a cat who likes to hide, but even she came out of her shell thanks to Rikke! I seriously cannot wait to see all of her hard work! 10/10, recommend to a friend, going back again. Book. read more

My Minnie has since passed away, and this session is still fresh in my mind. It was an amazing experience and I can't express how much I loved this. I appreciate everything she does and as a dog owner who lost her pet, these memories were worth it. I recommend her to everyone. read more

I really love how Rikke captured my dog Henry's expressions! That was the most important thing for me going in. He is naturally a little bit anxious, but she was great at making him feel comfortable and relaxed in the studio. I am extremely happy with the results. I also appreciate that she is very transparent about her products and pricing. I recommend reviewing that carefully (as Rikke also encourages us to do so). I went into my purchase appointment with some guidelines for myself, but definitely ended up becoming attached to more photos than I intended. It's really difficult to choose from such beautiful photos of your beloved pet! Thank you so much, Rikke! Having these beautiful portraits of Henry brings me joy and peace of mind. read more

I'm so happy I booked a session with Rikke for my two senior dogs. We did just in time as my little dog died shortly after. Rikke was super patient with Bob as he is blind and deaf and it was difficult to get him to pose. But Rikke got him to sit and pose and captured his personality (aka perpetually confused) my other dog, Fred is a 115lb mastiff and doesn't move so well. Rikke was very patient and made him earn those treats. I'm very happy with the final product read more

Our pup had a great experience with Rikke! And the photos we reviewed with her were so professional and beautifully prepared and edited. You could tell she spent a lot of time ensuring we were presented with a finished product that was worthy of printing - all 30+ photos we reviewed at the end. We had a good amount of time with Rikke to parse through the photos and select our favorite. We also had the option to purchase more options for an additional fee. There were many, many great shots!! It was such a challenge to choose. She really captured our pooch in such a joyful light. She got him comfortable and natural with her disarming way. And as all pet owners know, that's the best way to get their happiest expressions. I purchased this package as a gift for my husband and he really appreciated it and enjoyed the experience. I would definitely recommend Rikke for your pups photo shoot. read more

What can I say that could possibly describe how amazing this experience was? Rilke was kind, attentive, and patient with my senior poodles and their lack of training. She listened to their stories while ensuring that she captured the sweetest moments reflecting in her creative approach to photography. She is truly gifted! Her pricing was fair and she found ways to make sure we saw the slightest difference in each photo so we know we invested in the right portrait. If we could give Rilke a 10 we would! read more

Let me start by saying, Thank you Rikke I have 2 cats with very different personalities. A car ride alone becomes an a full adventure with them. Rikke gave is very clear instructions and created a very safe space for the babies and us (partner and I). She had treats and toys and suggestions to get the right shot. It was such a great experience. Selecting the shots was also a great experience. It was virtual but very clear and she picked a ton of good selections. I do have to add that I won the session in a contest but I am so glad that I did because I can't imagine having a better experience. 5 stars for communication, patience, professionalism, and of course talent. Thank you again read more

My puppy Aasha and I had the best experience during our photoshoot with Rikke! The whole experience, from scheduling to shoot to purchasing was so seamless. Her studio is clean, and I love the style of photos. At the time of photoshoot, Aasha was barely 4.5 months old and was very scared/nervous around new people. I didn't know what to expect, but Rikke was so patient, taking cues from me to make her super comfortable, and giving her treats, using toys, etc. She was so friendly and easy to talk to, so both Aasha & I quickly felt right at home. For much of the shoot we would even find my energetic, skittish pup in a calm settle! Rikke captured some of Aasha's most amazing qualities and I know I'm going to treasure these pictures for the rest of my life. The products are pricey, but this is one of those situations where you're definitely paying for what you get - which is high quality images of your best friend to last a lifetime! read more

I absolutely loved my experience with Rikke. I took my mini dachshund puppy, Tina, to get photos taken, and I think the results speak for themselves. Rikke did an incredible job capturing the pure and sweet essence of my little angel. She was so patient, too! With all the puppy energy and distractions, it was hard to get my dog to focus, but Rikke was able to work around it and capture a fabulous series of photos. She is completely upfront about everything to expect, and her pricing is very reasonable compared to what other studios offer. I also think the reflection/shadow method adds really cool dimensions to her minimalist photos. During my photo viewing session, she was very helpful in getting me to select the exact photos i wanted to purchase, showing me the tiny differences between each photo you may not have otherwise noticed. If you're looking to capture a stellar photo of your pet, this is definitely the place to go! read more

This review is long overdue! I had the privilege of having Rikke photograph my rescue dog, Aro, and it was the best decision ever. My dog is very timid and uneasy, due to her troubled past, and I wasn't sure how she would be for her session. Rikke was so understanding and patient with her. She gave Aro all the space she needed and approached her in the most loving way so that Aro didn't even feel threatened. Rikke spent so much time when it came to previewing our photos, and made sure we chose the best photos, which was really really hard since all of them were so amazing! She captured Aro's true personality and I can't wait to see the final product. Rikke, thank you so much for taking a chance with my sweet, yet spicy Aro. read more

Rikke is an amazing photographer and incredible with pets. I love her classic style & clean composition; it keeps the focus on my pup with no distractions. When I look at her photos, I don't see a scene, I see a huge grin, bright brown eyes, a big wet nose and little furry ears. I never thought dog photos could look so stunning & sophisticated. The backstory, my little guy took a fall and suddenly I only had a few days to work through his bucket list. On the top of that list was having his photo taken by a pro. I found Rikke's profile online late on a Tuesday night (Friday was his last day) and sent her an email explaining the urgency of my situation. She called first thing Wednesday morning and fit us into her schedule that afternoon. Seeing her work with him, her tenderness and patience, filled my heart with so much joy. Rikke was sunshine at a dark time. I am forever thankful for her. We have a second pup, a couple of year younger than my little guy, and I plan on having annual photoshoots with Rikke so we can capture her over time. read more

Rikke is the best! She had so much patience for my little ball of energy and knew what she was doing! The little details in the studio were so cute. Ridiculously overpriced. Hundreds of dollars for one printed photo and she won't sell individual digital photos. Just the whole set for well over 2k. And you only have the opportunity to purchase during one 30 min meeting. It's a business set up to pull on the heart strings of pet owners so they'll shell out tons of money. There are many photographers out there and most of them could do what she is doing for you, for a much more affordable rate. You shouldn't have to put memories of your pet on a payment plan. Price gouging at its best. read more

I want to start off by saying I had the best and most rewarding experience with Rikke photographing my little boy Boo today, The minute we walked in the door Rikke made us feel so comfortable! It was so important for her to let the dog feel, and sniff his way through the comfort of being there. She explained in detail exactly what she was going to do during our session and the even the little parts that I played, It was such a great experience. I felt like my dog has done this in his past life or something, it was like magic when she started clicking away with the camera, I truly felt like my dog had worked with her before, he was so comfortable and happy with her I want to personally thank you for the professionalism in the care that you've given us during our time of our session, I can't wait to see the photos. I never thought I'd be the person with professional photos of my dog, but here we are. I stumbled across Ph2grphy on instagram and scheduled a shoot for my 1 year old Lagotto, Dublin. Rikke was wonderful. She was so friendly and great with a rambunctious pup like Dublin. The shoot was so much fun and I wasn't sure how the photos would turn out since Dublin wasn't always cooperative but I was blown away. Rykke is amazing. Our viewing appointment was so much fun and Rykke was so patient and helpful in helping us narrow down our selections. The photos arrived a few weeks ago and they are now framed in my home. They're not just great pictures of a cute dog, they are elegant and timeless and I know many years from now I will be so grateful that I have these photos of such a special part of my life. read more

This was my first experience having a professional photographer take photos of our senior citizen cat and dog. Rikke was fabulous from start to finish and the final photos my wife and I selected exceeded expectations. Rikke is an excellent communicator, she was punctual to the minute for the in-home photo shoot, and she was wonderful with our pets. The biggest challenge we faced was selecting the final prints because all of them came out so well. Rikke is also very patient with the pets and their human family. The dog loved her and she was able to get the cat to sit still long enough to get some great shots (the cat doesn't like anybody). He style of photography is very unique and focuses on the pet without backgrounds or distractions. I would not hesitate to use Rikke again and recommend her to my pet loving friends and family. read more

The best photos ever! Rikke is AMAZING! She came over and took photos of my very energetic 12 week old puppy. She also took photos of my moms 2 dogs during the same sessions. She's creative and was able to capture her personality so wonderfully. She somehow was able to get her to stay still for some great photos. She was incredibly patient and understanding and continues to find ways for my baby to pose differently. She brought treats for my puppy to jump up and keep her calm. She also brought other toys and that helped my very fast and impatient baby stay still and kept her distracted while Rikke took the pictures. She cares so much about making sure you love the pictures and she's willing to photoshop and edit. She comes on time and brings everything needed for the photoshoot. I highly recommend her she can say with full confidence that she's the best dog photographer. I loved how she brought example frames so I can physically see what I love most to order of my puppy. She captured my baby's personality so perfectly she now I have these photos of my angel that I will cherish forever. I can't stop looking at the photos! They are incredible and she was only 12 weeks here. Now she's 6 months and is a bit bigger. But I'll always have these photos to remind me that she was just such a little baby once. read more
