Maybe at the beginning, we were seated and the server seemed very enthusiastic, too bad he didn't have the support of the establishment. now I have been to many PF Changs but this one was VERY subpar. BIGGEST complaint. They took Dan Dan Noodles off the menu!!! WHY??? I used to always see people ordering it and in fact the local one to my home here in NY will still make it when requested - yet this one adamantly refused. Horrible. We arrived very early before our plane was set to depart. Sooo, we decided to search for a place to eat at. To my surprise, the airport had opened a lot of new construction areas up. This restaurant was open and we knew it had SUSHIIIII! The waitress was very helpful with my son's dairy allergy. The sushi was awesome. We also had a nice choice of nice beer to go along with our meal. We loved it and will definitely go back on our next big trip! read more

Traveling for work and staying at the hotel attached to the airport. I Thought I would get a quick bite. Not pleased with this location. Silverware was dirty and the menu had food stuck on it. The runner dropped my meal off fairly quickly and it was fine. I ordered dessert and when it was delivered to me there was a thumb print on it. I asked my server to look at the dessert and let Me know what she thought was wrong with it. She did notice and returned with another piece. I checked to make sure they didn't just flip the cake (they didn't). The server was fine but I would pass ever coming back to this location. MGT needs to clean this location up. read more

Ate here after arriving in Tampa. Got the spicy chicken, partner got the honey shrimp with brown rice. We also ordered a side of chicken fried rice and broccoli. The food, except the chicken fried rice and broccoli, was almost inedible. Brown rice was well cooked, but seasonless.. both the honey shrimp and the spicy chicken were doused in WAY too much sauce... for me, the sauce was so overpowering it took away from the flavor of the chicken.. it tasted better when I ate the inside of the chicken (with whatever little sauce happened to end up on the fork) and cut the outside, which was doused in sauce, off.. I was almost glad the brown rice was bland, given the overwhelming amount (heavily seasoned) sauce. My waitress was awesome, I wish I could give her 5 stars. Some of the wait staff seemed less than professional, though. As I was entering the establishment, one of them (a waitress or bar staff) loudly referred to another as a bitch.. It was clear they were joking with each other, but this exchange happened RIGHT at the entrance of the restaurant and was loud enough that I heard it in the hallway just before I walked into the entrance. They were so busy with their conversation and joking around, the host didn't acknowledge that I was coming in (though to be fair, I walked in and walked straight to my folks, without making much eye contact), so they lost a star there too.. Started out a bit slow. No hostess was at the front. So me and another customer waited about 10 minutes before being acknowledged. There was also a delay in a server coming over. Alberto, came over and was very professional and pleasant. Once my order was taken, my drink and food came out rather quickly. At that point, I realized, I had no silverware. I had to get up and find a server to ask for silverware. I had the Mongolian Beef with Brown Rice. The food was good. I'm now awaiting my dessert. This visit was so so. This is without a doubt the best restaurant in the airport. I came for a late lunch, got the "Buddha feast" which was stir fried veggies. The veggies were crisp and not overcooked. They used to be fresh picked not too long ago and were not frozen. I appreciate the effort and had a better food experience here than in my hometown in Dallas. My server Carley is very professional, kind, anticipatory of needs. Table to my left had a customer mention (though not complain) there was a bone in his chicken (which many foodies out there like me would probably think...is sort of a good thing?). Had a horrible experience with my family Monday night. After a flight before heading home decided to get dinner. We obviously have been to P.F. Chang's and have dined in sit down restaurants in airports before. The restaurant was about 25% full and appeared to be fully staffed. When the hostess seated us she didn't give us any time indications that "hey dinner here takes 30+ min." Despite what appeared to be many servers, it took about 10+ minutes for one to come to us. Instead of greeting us with "hi how are you" he asked "are you in a hurry". I responded that we didn't have a flight but we had a 2 hour drive so we wanted dinner quickly. He went on to explain with a rude attitude that dinners there take 30 minutes so if we were in a hurry we shouldn't dine here. Welcome to P.F. Chang's. Our experience started off Really Unpleasant! The hostess whom we encountered first (Fawn) was extremely RUDE & had a pretty NASTY ATTITUDE. I don't know if her day started off bad or what, but we did not appreciate her taking whatever was on her mind out on us. Atmosphere was clean and quiet. Food was fresh. Dragon Roll was very good, slices were cut a little on the large side. Spring rolls and sauce were excellent. This PF Chang's at TPA is just awful. I travel a lot on business and have gotten take-out here in the past because it is convenient. Not anymore. Each time the order has been wrong. Portions are much smaller. People taking order at take-out are not friendly. I just came home from TPA after deciding to give PF Changs another try. Again they have messed up my order more messed it up again by forgetting my white rice x 2 on two dinners. I complained to the Customer Care in charge of restaurants at TPA and have received no response. Save your money and eat elsewhere. read more

My husband and I were catching an early flight out so we decide to spend the night prior to our departure at the airport Marriott. We went to PF Chang's in the terminal for dinner. The waitress seated us and gave us water and took our drink order. We then waited about 30 minutes for our cocktails when my husband finally went up to the bar and retrieved them himself (we watched then just sit on the bar for at least 20 minutes while our waitress walked by them 6 or 7 times. We then ordered our dinner when the waitress finally decided to take 2 minutes to come to our table without apologizing for the drink situation. Then about ten minutes later, my husband went back to the bar to refill our waters which had been sitting empty for at least 15 minutes. We finally received our dinner after waiting a loooong time for it to be delivered. We each took one bite and looked at each other. It was inedible. Cold and extremely salty. My husband had finally had enough. He flagged down a manager, told him the details of our evening and stated that we would not be paying. The manager immediately agreed and walked away like this happened all the time. We then went back to the hotel and had a lovely hot dinner at the hotel bar. What a huge waste of our time. P.F. Chang's in the Tampa International airport gets a 1 star. My boyfriend, his mother, and I went over to P.F. Chang's in the airport because his mother was craving some lettuce wraps. Sounds good right? Too bad she didn't get them. We were seated in a timely manner, but unfortunately we were never greeted by a server. We sat there looking at the servers, at least 5 different ones, walking by hoping that someone would at least stop to ask if we have been helped yet. Nope. We weren't. We sat there for roughly 10 to 15 minutes and decided to get up and leave. It really frustrated us because you would think that someone would have asked "Oh have you been helped yet?" Or "how's everything over here?" But nothing. I understand that tables and floors need to be swept but if I'm seeing 4 different waiters or waitresses doing a task that could be done with one maybe two, then I don't understand why no one came to greet us when we were seated. Now, most might be thinking they must've been busy, but I was looking around and noticing that most of the customers in there were finishing up their plates or just having drinks with their family or friends. Doesn't seem hard to quickly ask "have you been served". So after we left, my boyfriend went back to let them know that we were waiting for 10-15 minutes and were not approached once by anyone regardless if they were our waiter or not. They did apologize and explained that the waiter went on break and must've not communicated with the other workers to cover his area, as well as offer 10% off the bill, but my boyfriend respectfully declined that offer. Really, it was the fact that out of all those waiters and waitresses not one of them asked us if we have been served or what not. I work in the "food" industry at Starbucks and even though I may not be assigned a certain role during my shift, if I see a customer just standing there or they look like they haven't been helped I will gladly ask them have you been helped yet, because that's just professionalism in the work place and also let's them know that you notice them and acknowledge their presence. While i appreciate that they did apologize, I'm very disappointed in their overall service and i don't intend on visiting PF Changs again. read more
