They got me in a bay immediately and sure enough, I needed a quart and a half. They had me ready to go in about 5 minutes, and when I went to pay them the guy said "oh no, we don't charge for top-up's" even though they new I was from Texas and would likely never be a repeat customer. I love seeing that there are good folks in the world, these are some of those!

I have never been to this location when I have not had to wait at least an hour just to get into the bay. They do tell me repeatedly that they are short staffed. 355 S Main St I towed my truck to Sam's shop he said he…read morewould diagnose it on Friday but when I called the shop I was told he didn't get to it because someone from STL alternator went out on their car so that was more important. Then was told he would get to it Tuesday because he didn't work on Monday. Before I took it to him I changed all the spark plugs except cylinder 1 because it was so tight I was afraid I would break it and I changed other parts trying to figure out why it would start and run but die. So at the end of the day Tuesday he called told me that it would not start so his diagnosis was that it jumped time not because he did anything to come up with that diagnosis but had to be the problem plus he told me he did a compression check by pulling number 1 spark plug and no compression. So I took it to another shop told them what he told me and he checked the plug and said it's so tight it was never removed and is still diagnosing. My wife called Sam's and he was being extremely rude and said that he worked on it for 30 minutes to come up with his diagnosis and my wife told him that shop we took it to has let us know that we was lied to by him and he changed what he told me about cylinder 1 and now he said he checked cyl 5 lol . She told him we want a refund because he didn't do anything except lie to us and misdiagnosed my truck which is my work truck that he was aware that I needed ASAP . I took it there because had some good reviews but I wouldn't take anything there needing more than minor repairs like an alternator or oil change something like any uneducated person could do themselves
